One of the best dishes I have ever eaten! Their corn beef hash is out of this world. Baked goods are delicious!

Must have new owners.less food and not as tasty.

Menu looks delicious. I have only gotten bakery items which were yummy and cheaper but I am reviewing to say this is a much more expensive place than Google thinks. Breakfast dishes run $20 a plate in 2024

An egg sandwich for 21 dollars? No thanks.

Came here with little kiddos after another nearby cafe let us know their wait for food was 40 min. Thought Mount Bakery Cafe was a good quicker option. Very wrong. Food took an hour to arrive, even though it was mostly empty. Wish we had been informed prior to ordering, or even updated by wait staff occasionally. Ordered breakfast burritos and a waffle for the kids. Burritos came with thick slices of unmelted cheese inside. Waffle was seriously so bad. Maybe missing salt in the waffle batter? Would recommend skipping this sad, sad cafe.

Kid-friendliness: Sticky surfaces, high chair didn’t have a buckle, extremely long wait time.

Tasteless food. Had salmon Benedict and deluxe burrito ($44), only the wrap of the burrito tasted of anything, inside it was tasteless mush and the potatoes had no salt. Took 40 minutes on a not busy hour to get food. Waitresses just come and take your plates without asking a single question. Left us without water twice.

My dream of eating a chocolate croissant kept returning to my thoughts. Knowing Mount Bakery Cafe wasn't far, I knew my dream could soon be a reality! As I approached the counter, I spied the pastry of my dream in the glass case. The large croissant with a wave of chocolate drizzle on top, looked like a masterpiece. As I took a bite into my chocolate croissant, the tender, flakey layers were obvious. My next bite left me disappointed when I bit into something firmer than expected. Finding a piece of a chocolate bar inside my croissant was not what I imagined. Could this really be what a chocolate croissant is all about?

Mount Bakery never fails to disappoint with their delish pastries (especially the croissants) and baller breakfast items. Definitely a BHAM staple and love that they have locations in both the Downtown and Fairhaven parts of town. Definitely recommend this local spot!

Absolutely must try. I was expecting Mount Bakery to be a nice small town breakfast experience. I was not expecting the level of attention given to literally every detail on my plate. My eyes were drawn to the bright colors used on the plates and then the beautiful layout of these delicious Benedict’s. The breakfast potatoes were just perfect, a little crispy on the outside with a perfect earthy potato aroma.. delicious! It’s hard to say these Benedict’s (mushroom Benedict and smoked salmon Benedict) weren’t some of the best I’ve had… because they were! I absolutely LOVE the hollandaise served with these dishes. Just the right amount of citrus … clearly made in-house, which is rare! The attention to customers is really great, the people helping you were really in to making sure patrons were enjoying their experience. This is not “just another breakfast/brunch place”. Mount Bakery Cafe is at the top of their game. The Typical Tourist will absolutely remember their experience and the semi local is missing out if this hasn’t been checked off must try places.

Vegetarian options: This establishment can and will make adjustments for vegetarians

Dietary restrictions: Everything is fresh and made specific, they can accommodate dietary restrictions for the most part

Parking: Parking is paid, but very easy. No app required if you have Apple Pay. Just use your camera, takes you to a very easy checkout which took about 30 seconds.

Kid-friendliness: Very cool place for kids to have a great experience

Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor easily accessible, floors are hard with no carpet.

My first time here and the food and staff are great! They have Gluten Free options, and everything tastes good. It was a little louder than I'd personally prefer for it being around brunch time as I'm typically still waking up but overall it was great!

Dietary restrictions: There are gluten free options, not sure about anything else!

Parking: There are some free and paid Parking areas around but nothing in front of the restaurant from what I observed. It mostly depends on when you are going (day of the week and what time of day).

Kid-friendliness: They have the special high seats for little kids that aren't able to sit in a big chair yet!

I though I would treat an out of town friend to something special given Mt. Bakery's reputation in Bellingham. The service was fine but unfortunately my meal was so bad I couldn't even finish it. The roasted vegetable crepe was flavorless, the potatoes were overcooked, and everything was cold - including my "hot" beverage. I'm embarrassed to have suggested this place when there are such better offerings in Bellingham.

I just bought a loaf of bread at the farmers market from this bakery. It was eight dollars and the women asked me to tip “for the bakers.” This is a basic grocery item! This is out of control, tipping is for service. I’m so turned off I don’t even want to eat the bread.
