The Bagels are good. The coffee is good. The employees are nice and welcoming. That covers the first two ratings.Now for the third….atmosphere. For us, the “atmosphere” around what was once our favorite…on Railroad has become a bit over the top….not in a good way.On the other hand Otherside and the surrounding area are clean. Another perk…being able to leave Otherside and take a walk towards the bay, once again…not having to deal with anything but nature.Hey Otherside….add a bialy to the mix and you would be perfect.

Ordered a latte and a pup cupLatte wasn't made per instructions- no foamAnd they tried to charge me $1.50 for a pup cup of 1" of who cream on a lid!! Seriously? Even WOODS- who charge for everything don't charge for a dog treat.The coffee is VERY bitter (notice several complain about this)And charging $3.50 for a regular cup of coffee (w/ only 1 refill- not free refills) that costs $ .50 is just criminal even with today's inflation.The server wasn't friendly or helpful (keeping in mind everyone has bad days not holding business neg for this)I won't be back and will not recommend ANYONE.Only reason not a 1* is manager did offer to remake drink- still awful and bitter- but not his fault the coffee they use is bitter. However no one ever came back to check if the 2nd drink was better or if I needed anything else. ( was here for an hour charging phone)Being in the service industry- I know how to treat people if you want repeating customersThese people do not

I Love this place we went two times over Christmas. My favourite was the cream cheese and lox on everything bagel. They have bagels to go or stay and eat in. Even theWallpaper in the bathroom was nice. Great atmosphere and we will definitely be back next time we visit Bellingham.
I’m a Canadian and my debit card didn’t work in their location today. They prepared and gave me my bagel anyways! I tried to say no thanks but the nice lady genuinely made me feel like it was a gift. Amazing bagel and THE SCHMEAR (had the garlic & herb) was so generously portioned and divine. Honestly a very kind and delicious experience. I will be back to pay in plenty!

The bagels are always amazing, great coffee, etc. But what I want to comment on is the SERVICE. Let me tell you a story. I come in at 2:30 on Tuesday, they close at 3:00. I ask for two jars of pickles. These pickles have a chokehold on my family to the point where my sister has asked me to bring two jars of pickles for her New Year's Eve party. I ask for two jars and there are exactly two jars left. I happily grab my pickles and leave. On the way to the car, tragedy strikes. I drop one of the jars, pickles fall and go everywhere on the sidewalk. I'm on the verge of tears and humiliated. I sheepishly collect the pickles and go back inside to throw them away and apologize profusely. The staff tells me that they're getting another jar ready for me and that they will clean it up and not to worry at all. This was all thirty minutes before closing. Within 5 minutes, I'm handed a fresh jar of pickles and a gentleman is out mopping the sidewalk where pickle juice is. The lady working walked the new jar out to my car for me to ensure no other accidents happened. To the staff working on Tuesday afternoon 12/19, THANK YOU! The pickles have made it safely home and my sister is eternally grateful! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Bagels are great and the drip coffee is top notch. After being a barista in Seattle for almost a decade I have decided on my favorite local coffee shop after moving to Bellingham. Thank you for the amazing treats! The lighting is just right for studying as well.

Grabbed bagel sandwiches and coffees from this spot before hitting the road back to Seattle. They were open early and had a very "college campus" feel to their spot. Prices were reasonable and everything exactly as described. Was it the best bagel this New Yorker has ever had? No. Was it perfectly fine? Absolutely. Easy to park on the street right outside.
Their fresh bagels are hard to beat and the coffee is great to grab and go.
