Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine Reviews
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The place smelled amazing, the food was delicious, and the people were very friendly!
Will definitely be back soon!
Alicha Wot half plate is a dish I dream about during hard times. Cooked with homemade ghee makes it even better. Great prices.
Absolutely phenomenal. The best Ethiopian food I’ve ever had in my life. Actually the best food I’ve had in my entire life. I got the beef platter with kale, beats and homemade cottage cheese. Just wow. This will be a regular spot for me. The staff is incredibly friendly...read full review

Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine offers authentic Ethiopian food with options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. The lamb stew is tender, juicy, and full of flavor, providing a hearty experience. Vegetarian choices like Alicha Wat and cabbage stew are also popular, and the homemade cottage cheese adds a nice tang to the meal. Customers often enjoy the almost spongey flatbread that sops up the flavors of the dishes, and the half yellow split pea meal with potatoes is a favorite for takeout. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Service is quick and friendly, with the owner and chef working hard to prepare dishes that are true to traditional flavors. Customers can choose from regular or gluten-free injera, and the food travels well, making it a great spot for takeout. Overall, Ambo Ethiopian Cuisine provides a genuine and satisfying dining experience.
