This place doesn't do much, but what they do, they do well. Nine dollars gets you a small to-go box full of either beef or potato dumplings. The beef ones are juicy and tasty; potato ones are hearty and also tasty. The cilantro on top is a nice touch, and the hot sauce is flavorful and a bit sweet. There's a vinyl record player inside and fliers for local events at the entrance. If you want a filling late-night snack after a show, this is the place.
Great place for a quick, easy, and cheap lunch. For the uninitiated, here's the menu:

One order comes with about 18 little pel'meni, topped with a paprika spice blend, a mound of cilantro, and half a slice of rye bread. When you pick up your box of food, grab a spoon and a tub of sour cream.
We fed three people for less than $30. Not bad!

This place really is a fixture in the community. The food is always high quality and the service is quick. I usually buy two (one potato , one meat). You can request they be mixed as well. The price has gone up but that's natural with things as they are and inflation. Also they're pretty much open year round except for select holidays. Can't beat it for a quick bite.
