I really love this café — the cakes are amazing. But I’ve got a small (chocolate-fueled) request: could we please get a gluten-free chocolate cake in the display?
Right now, it’s always the same: gluten cakes = all kinds of chocolate. Gluten-free section? Vanilla, carrot, something lemony. It’s like the chocolate got banned from that side of the case.
I show up hopeful, stare at the glass like a kid in a candy shop — and leave sad and empty-handed. Just one gluten-free chocolate cake would make a world of difference!

I don’t get the 5 star reviews. Paid $9 + tax + tip for a single slice of cake that was dry. It looked amazing, tho. For $12, I’d expect an amazing tasting slice of cake.
Hopefully I just got a bad slice - maybe it’d been out all day, exposed to the air or something.
I got it to go, and my sister ate it at home with birthday candles. If I’d been in their cafe eating it there, I’d have definitely asked for an exchange.
Bummer. I really wanted to love this place.

Vegan options the day I went were: chocolate cake, carrot cake, chocolate peanut butter brownie, and berry polenta muffin. I ordered the carrot cake and it looks as delicious. FYI this is not quick, even to-go. When you order, you are given a number and then they bring out your food. It only took a few minutes, but I thought I'd mention it. There is plentiful outdoor seating, and another indoor seating area in addition to the one pictured here. The decor felt very retro Parisian and there was a celebratory vibe.

Pure Bliss has been a long time favorite of mine however they really outdid themselves with their ability to provide the most gorgeous wedding cake and cupcakes for my wedding day! I would absolutely recommend them for a quick bite or for any event. 10/10.

Pure Bliss is my go to when I’m in need of a sweet treat that’s also gluten free. I’ve lived in this area my whole life so I have a pretty good handle on where the yummy treats and lemme tell ya…this place is it!

Incredible but so confused on the system. There is no line and 10 people working and it took a long time to get our dessert. Whatever system they have to get food out is comically slow haha. I have noticed this before but thought it was a fluke but there is zero efficiency in how they plate and box their desserts. If you see a line it’s because of this.
Incredible dessert though! And the go to after dinner spot in town. Great beer and wine on tap too but man, a little pep in the step would not hurt.

We get a carrot cake each year for a bday. First time getting for here. First, they actually did a thin layer of frosting as requested.
The cake was moist, flavorful and well spiced. The frosting was good and for us, the perfect amount.
Looking forward to trying other items.
We got our wedding cake and cupcakes from them back in 2017, the carrot cake vegan cupcakes were my favorite part! That was the beginning of my true conversion to veganism. What a tasty treat, heaven on earth.

I placed a custom order for a smash cake, they were quick to respond, easy to work with, reasonably priced and did such an amazing job on our cake.
The color, little flowers, everything was absolutely perfect.

For my daughters first birthday, I decided to get a fancy smash cake from Pure Bliss. She loves anything sea related, so when I saw the Under the Sea example in the lookbook, I knew it was what I wanted. The email communication was timely. They triple checked everything before they sent the invoice. The invoice even had a breakdown that summarized what we agreed on. The lady at the pickup counter went over some basic tips to get the cake home safely and was very kind. My daughter loved her cake. And we loved our coconut chocolate chunk cake. Great communication, customer service, and cakes!

They have lots of options (including gluten free cakes and cookies): cakes, cookies, muffins, torts, etc. and they even have wine available 🥂
There’s seating up front, a larger area in the back, and a small outside patio when the weather is nice.
The cake slices are very generous, I wish I had opted for the petite slice (which is also cheaper), but I’ll just save the rest for later 🍰
