Food is lackluster and very pricey. The person who took my order was rude. I don't recommend dining here.

I’m torn about this place. I like the staff. I like the healthy options. I absolutely hate the pricing. The Asian persuasion bowl is lettuce, quinoa, carrot and cabbage shreds and a spoonful of edamame for $12. Want falafel? $3 for a single patty. Want chicken? $3 for a sliver of a chicken breast. It’s not particularly filling, and it’s hard to justify the prices when you can get a lot more food from any other vendor for the same price. I always appreciate when someone bucks the junk food trend and has more plant based offerings, but I don’t think over charging for tiny portions is a healthy approach to business.

From the super cute, friendly service to the great music selection and delicious tots and elixirs, this is one of my fav places in BHam!

Just had a great burger here at the portal village. (Trackside) Cascadia burger with mushrooms and sautéed onions. Service was friendly and quick. Cool spot.

AMAZING ON EVERY LEVEL! Hard to narrow down what you should try because everything is amazing, I will note that getting yourself a slushy or basil lemonade is an ABSOLUTE MUST

What a great outdoor eating experience, in a fun, DIY environment, with great care taken in food, drink, service, AND ambiance (beautiful landscaping provided by a renowned local nursery, and fun music ranging from funky R&B to alt and punk) served up from a clean, environmentally friendly (almost everything you eat from is compostable or reusable) shipping container in a bootstrap amusement park.(Whew, that was a long sentence!)Really one of the best burgers I've had in some time. A real old-school burger, that doesn't try to wow you with how huge or exotic it is - seriously, when they handed it to me in the brown paper wrap, I was a little miffed; I mean, $10 (I got the "R&R", the bacon cheeseburger variation) for something the size of a baseball? I thought, "This better be awesome..."It was.Juicy, perfectly cooked grass-fed beef, smash-burger style: thin, crispy at the edges but still pink in the center...topped with smokey bacon just the right size for the patty, gooey cheese, and lovely sauces that just soaked into the pillowy brioche-style bun enough that they only oozed out when I took a bite. It wasn't just good, it was masterful!Washed down with the local house IPA...my friend, I'm telling ya...In disbelief, I went back and ordered their signature burger. Another warm baseball was placed in my hand, wrapped in brown paper, but I eyed this one in anticipation rather than suspicion...would it be as good? Was the first perfect burger just a fluke?Oh, man. You gotta be kidding me. Another picture-perfect burger, this one with still-crisp lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion and a lovely, mildly sweet and tangy sauce that married all the beefy, gooey cheese goodness together and had me reaching for napkin after napkin. I haven't had a burger so good it made me forget my beer in maybe 20 years. Shazam. What beer?Get here and get some of this before someone screws it up. I'm serious. Oh, did I mention they have slushy drinks? And there's mini golf next door? Yep. Premium burgers. Premium Bellingham.Highest recommendation.

The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Heads up though, fish and chips only comes with one piece of fish... ?
Bit pricey on food, but that’s just the world now. Super tasty adult slushies!

A fun and colorful addition to the Portal Village. I love how they keep adding more businesses to the waterfront area. Came to enjoy the sunny weather at this container restaurant stand. It was a change to try cocktails in this area, versus the usual beer at Trackside. The cool thing about this place is it was started by same owners as the Filling Station. All I can say is HAPPY HOUR. Go to this place for happy hour (2-5 pm daily)!!! The $5 alcoholic slushees, $10 combos (Riv Burger + slushee) and $3 tots are a great deal. Drinks were so yummy. The burger was good, but on the smaller side. Things to note: you have to keep alcoholic beverages in the fenced area of the restaurant (since there are other restaurants in the area who also sell drinks). Only outdoor seating, but some of the tables have sun umbrellas.
