Went here for a quick dinner with a friend before going to the Theatre Guild for a play. We sat at the bar because there were only two of us and when busy parties of two don’t get tables. The bar was fine, we got great service. We had hot noodles and wontons and they were both delicious. Great place for an awesome meal, great vibes.Vegetarian options: My friend is a vegetarian and we were able to pick from several dishes.

Redlight is now our favorite location for eating a super-delicious, creative vegetarian meal (though not healthy, lots of oil). So many veg choices! We've had the sichuan cucumbers (every time), crispy tofu (every time), grilled gailan, frisee/arugula salad (every time), chilled noodle, hot noodle, vegan wontons, vegan dumplings, eggplant (amazing!), and eggplant bao. On our most recent visit we had the crazy-weird sounding but excellent sorbet sundae for dessert. We're really there for the food but we also enjoyed some cocktails - we tended to find one we liked and stick with it. Postal Service, Le Butcherette, Ginger Mule, Weedeater. I can't praise this place enough. Staff are super friendly, helpful, and patient. Even the server we had most recently who was working her first day was excellent - kudos to whoever hired her. :-) My only problem is the extreme noise once the place is 2/3 full or more, but now that we've internalized the opening time of 4pm we will just need to eat dinner earlier.Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian and a few excellent vegan options.

Food and drinks are to die for! The heartbreaker is delicious and you should try it if you like strawberries ? The wontons and dumplings are super yummy and they have vegan options if you’re vegan/vegetarian. Lots of yummy side dishes. We go here when we want to treat ourselves for good drinks and food because we know we won’t be let down. The service is upstanding and I’ve never been mistreated here. I’ll wait for a table for an hour if I have too ( if I’m in a big group ) because it’s worth it. They get super busy but still provide excellent service throughout. I try to go once a week if my schedule allows. ❤️ I could go on for hours about this place. I tell everyone I know and I hope if you’re reading this you will too.Thank you Teo, Holly, Hannah, Tera, Max and so many more of you that I appreciate more than you know.

We hadn't check out their new location till last night. I was speechless when the host told me that parties of two aren't allowed to sit at an actual table unless the dining room is more or less empty, just "in case" a larger table might arrive. I was quoted a three hour wait for that to possibly happen. We were directed to seats at the bar or the cramped two top area in the front corner of the restaurant. From a business, money making viewpoint, I'm sure this increases their profits. From a customer relations viewpoint, it made me feel as though my business was not valued. Though we had a nice enough meal in the front corner area, we were not comfortable in the slightest bit, and before we even finished our meal, I just wanted out of there, needed some space from the other diners, some fresh air from the stuffy and warm environment, and my back was hurting from the backless stools and having to be mindful of bumping into other diners. I have absolutely no desire to return, no matter how good their food or drinks are. If the owner is trying to discourage parties of two or less from eating there so that they can make more money, then they have succeeded. However, they have also succeeded in discouraging me from returning in a larger party as well. Which is more important, the bottom line, or any customer, no matter what size of party, feeling welcome and valued? And by the way, not a single larger table arrived nor was seated while we were there. Bad vibes and comfort all the way around with this business move.

Delicious and cozy atmosphere, well worth the wait. Red light is known to be busy so prepare yourself for a wait unless you are an early bird. Its busy for a reason! The dishes are full of flavor without being too rich or relying just in spice to make a dish exciting. The noodles and pork belly are phenomenal. Even with a room packed to the gills the staff were checking in on me just as i was beginning to think about another drink. This place is great for some solo reading time as the background noise is just at a low rumble. The drinks utilize interesting flavors and each drink can also be toned down based on the drinkers desire. Good things take time, bring a book bring some friends enjoy the ambiance.

Up scale Asian food with inventive cocktails. As bougie as it gets, but the food is spot on. Be ready for a pricey bill, but totally worth it.

You can't go wrong here. Granted the cocktails are a bit $$$ but worth every penny (IMO). Food is unique, fresh and fun. Their service (especially mixologists) staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The location is easily accessible allowing for long lines to get in. This place is popular for good reason so definitely plan ahead (especially for parties larger than 2-3 patrons)

Excellent food, great staff, beautiful restaurant/bar - highly recommended. Right next door to what will be the new second Pickford theater.

No matter how many times I dine/drink at Redlight, the food, beverages and service are always incredible! We love you Redlight :)

For years, Redlight was my Bellingham favorite. The new location is a nice facility. We tried to eat there Thursday, but gave up finding parking after circling 5 times. The previous time we were there, on a weekend, we were told that tables were not available for parties of 2. We could eat at the bar, after a wait, or at the window bar. Really? Growing pains. Dare you to name another restaurant that refuses to seat parties of 2
