Located just as you walk into the Sycamore Square Building on 12th and Harris, you'll find the best pastries you've ever had in your entire life.GuaranteedShirlee gets up at 4am each morning to prepare them just for you. I can't say enough about the apricot Nutella pinwheel and her Croissant breakfast Sando. The flavors, the portion, and the flakiness of that croissant will blow you away.Grab yourself a spot out front on the sidewalk for some of the best people watching, or go inside to the gorgeous 3 story indoor plaza and it's incredible light and woodwork.I visited Shirlee several mornings in July for that Americano and her smile. Her energy will kick-start your day, that croissant will satisfy your morning hunger pang, and that pastry… well, it will put a skip in your step!Highly recommend you stop here!
Shirlee was so sweet! Mocha satisfied my chocolate craving and was nice and strong too, the pesto goat cheese pastry was delectable. Thank you Shirlee!

food and location are unique. however i found Shirlee lacking in social graces and etiquette. the brash ‘counter bravado’ makes for an uncomfortable interaction. bossy and intimidating for no reason. will not be going back.

Great little spot for coffee. We had the Hummingbird Latte and a Dirty Chai to drink both were delicious with the chai having enough spice to tingle the tongue which I loved. For food we had a lemon cardamom bear claw, The Burrito, and The Griller. Food takes a few minutes so don't expect to be in and out with a sandwich but if you have the ten-fifteen minutes to wait they're high quality and made with superior ingredients. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegan and veg options for both hot food and pastries!
