Food and beverages were good. My wife loved her biscuits and gravy and her latte, and I enjoyed my French dip. However, the service was sorely lacking. The vibes felt uncomfortable from the second we walked in with weird glances from the hostess and we felt neglected by our waitress throughout our time there. We waited long after other guests had been attended to in order to settle our bill, including those who had just come in.
Marissa was one of the best servers I've ever been able to experience. Her cheerful bubbly attitude was a treat and she was incredibly kind to everyone at the table. 10/10 service, if you go to Skylark’s you’ll be absolutely delighted if she is your server!
I went here recently with some friends because it was close by and open late. I had been here a couple of times quite a few years ago and did not like the food so I was not too excited. I’d forgotten how beautiful the space was (or maybe it was really just remodeled) but it felt warm and elegant. The menu is much smaller but everything looked delicious.
