Great Italian restaurant. We had a pasta and pizza and they were one of the best I have ever had. Although, food and service are awesome, price is surprisingly relatively reasonable. highly recommended

Phenomenal Service from Chris at Storia Cucina!
My significant other and I decided to visit Storia Cucina one evening because I had been raving about this place. It had been a long time since I last dined here, and my partner wanted to experience it with me. Unfortunately, our first visit together didn’t go as planned—Storia was incredibly busy, and our food came out cold. Sitting at the bar, we brought it up to Chris, who was managing the bar and also serving us that night.
Chris handled the situation with professionalism and genuine care. He apologized sincerely multiple times, ensured we were taken care of, and even encouraged us to give Storia another try on a Tuesday night.
Fast forward to earlier this week—my partner and I returned on a Tuesday, and Chris immediately recognized us, despite it being a few months since our last visit. He went above and beyond, taking care of our appetizer and making us feel so welcomed.
Needless to say, this is now one of our favorite places. The food is excellent, but the service from Chris makes it truly exceptional. His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction is rare to find. Thank you, Chris, for making both our experiences memorable—you’re amazing!

I wouldn't recommend. Service was horrible. We were told the wait was 20 minutes, but ended up being closer to 40. Then, our waitress was busy talking to the bartender and I had to go request our drinks when we had already received our entree's. The food was good, but not AMAZING. The cost doesn't match the quality. Also parking wasn't easy to find either.

I come down to Bellingham for concerts every few months, and I am shocked that this gem of a restaurant had (until this evening) flown entirely under my culinary radar.
Was dining solo so sat the bar in the far corner, but (unlike many establishments) was never forgotten. Despite there only being two servers working behind the bar in charge of all drink orders, plus all food for those us at the bar, I was checked on regularly, but never in a way that felt intrusive.
Food was excellent. Opted for the focaccia and burrata appetizer. Was good, but not something I would be inclined to get again.
Main was pizza with pancetta as an add on. Outstanding for my palate, though I would guess that some diners may find the pancetta a bit too salty.
Wine list is small but varied, and every varietal in Italy is well-represented and reasonably priced. I knew what wine I wanted to pair with my food from the start, so didn’t require any suggestions, but was so impressed by the servers’ wine knowledge as they assisted the couple next to me.
Cannot wait to return.

The cacio e Pepe was good but the noodles are very thick and pretty chewy. I wish it was a bit of a lighter noodle since the sauce is so bold with pepper. The burrata appetizer was amazing, highly recommend! It was pretty loud it there so be prepared, they could use some dampers for sure. Over all, great restaurant and highly enjoy every time I go

Easily my favorite nice dinner spot in Bellingham. I'd say the best, but I'm holding my rating until I get a better sense for the ones I haven't tried yet. But, they'll have some stiff competition cuz Storia Cucina is simply THAT good. If there was a version of Michelin that was *just* for Bellingham, this gem of a restaurant would get ⭐⭐ If you're reading this and haven't been, I'm genuinely excited for you to eat here! Enjoy!!
