Very stale service, took entirely way to long for a plate of just cooked vegetables and rice. Too small to wait inside and very expensive for such little meat you get.

What a Supa Dupa place! Granted it looks like a pawn shop from the outside - in true SoCal Sublime tradition, but inside, so kitschy and kool! But, it is the food and the people that make this place outstanding. I always judge Japanese by their katsu and Hawaiian by their slaw - this place is stellar. The fries, the legit Hawaiian soda, the well cooked rice, even the veggie yakisoba is lit! ?Outdoor seating is limited, and the wait can be long, but totally worth it! Wish they didn’t use styrofoam. ☹️

Called multiple times. No answer. Drove 10 miles out of my way to go there in person. It was dead. Tried to order, but they were out of multiple menu items. Had you answered the phone, I could have saved myself the wasted drive. Lame.

Had a great time eating some awesome food! John was really helpful with figuring out which food was good to try and helped my son find something he was willing to try. My son is pretty picky with food and he loved everything he ate there!
With an unbelievably heavy heart, I must write that this beloved bellingham restaurant is under new management and it is hardly a shell of what it used to be. Gone is the best teriyaki in town, now a mediocre pan-asian hawaiian type place that happens to still serve teriyaki. The teriyaki is not good. The egg roll was barely edible. When I got my food I half expected to hear the old man who used to run the place ask if i wanted a salad, and the new employee asked me if I wanted mac salad or coleslaw. The only thing on the menu that even resembles how it was is the Katsu, which is easily the best thing I have gotten since they changed hands. This is crushing. The staff was at least nice but there was some confusion with our order.

Super Duper Teriyaki is a hidden gem in Bellingham! The Kalbi/Katsu combo was awesome and the portions were pretty big. The Chicken Katsu was perfectly crispy and reminded me of the great Hawaiian restaurants we use to go to in California. The free miso soup was also a nice touch. The staff was quick, friendly and welcoming. I also love that they are a family run locally owned business. They definitely have our support!

I live near by. It isn't the same after it changed owners. Tonight I walked in 25 min before close and again 15 minutes before close and couldn't get ANYONE'S ATTENTION. We walked out.
