Incredible food. Easily the best food I've had in Bellingham. Well priced, local, beautifully plated, and delicious! Fast service. Great environment. In particular, our server Rae was phenomenal. Thank you Rae and the bistro staff!

The oyster specials were amazing. Chef personally introduced himself, the personal touch and background jazz made the dining experience special. Also can’t beat the beautiful view!

If you want a taste of New Orleans, this is definitely the spot to go in Bellingham. The happy hour is unbeatable too ! 7$ cocktails done right ! Everything I tasted was great. Great flavors, could use a little more spice, but definitely a strong 9.5/10 overall. I recommend the slider and Cajun jambalaya!!! I cannot believe this place was not packed! If I’m ever in the area agin I would definitely return. The staff was very welcoming as well, I love this place lol.

Love everything about this place. The shrimp & grits are our favorite. Awesome happy hour & dessert. We have been here multiple times and will definitely keep coming back.

The best/most gluten-free friendly restaurant maybe in Washington state. Great food even from a non GF perspective. Great cocktails - $7 at happy hour! And great service. Seriously, check out the happy hour menu. Minus one star for the dining room that is giving corporate retreat vibes. I know it's at a golf course, but they can do better.

The food is mediocre. The spicy chicken sandwich seemed like fried chicken smothered in ketchup. There was no spice whatsoever. There weren't many folks in the restaurant and we had to go looking for the server several times, who was visiting with colleagues in the backroom. And the meals are pricey, portions are smaller, and the space a bit cavernous. It is my second visit, and there is no need to give a third try.

What a find! We are always looking for something new and Cajun is a novelty in the area. We loved the view from the restaurant. Everything (the course) was beautiful and green outside.

Ok pictures looked amazing! But you walk in and it's this weird retirement cafeteria vibe. Food was about the same. I had high hopes based upon reviews and pictures of food. But high priced for lack luster food. Waiters were nice but unfortunately highly don't recommend. Atmosphere was extremely strange.

This is the best Cajun food you will find in Bellingham. Chef Matt has done an amazing job elevating the menu here. I recently attended one of their special events, the wild game and whiskey dinner, and was blown away by the range and depth of the dishes we tasted. I also loved seeing the local collaboration with a Ferndale based distillery. Plus the views from the dining area can't be beat! Normally I would balk at my husband taking me on a date night to a golf course but the Bistro at Shuksan is worth a visit even if you could care less about golfing, just go for the love of food!

So glad we stopped in for their all day happy hour this Sunday. Just a wonderful experience. Decided to share 4 appetizers, food was absolutely great. Drinks were spot on. Can not beat the price for what you get. Service was perfect. Our waitress was very attentive and super nice. One of our better eating out experiences in quite sometime. Will be back and looking forward to ordering off of their dinner menu. Thank you for a top notch meal.

Our window table was noisy as the band music reverberated off the glass.--we could barely converse while the band was playing. Overall an enjoyable evening nevertheless, and good Cajun food and good drinks, but not a 5 star experience. It's a large open area more conducive to events rather than cozy dining, although they do their best to make it as cozy as possible. Would revisit, but not on an evening with live music, for sure!Dietary restrictions: Lots of GF options

We came in for the first time for an early dinner and to enjoy live jazz. The service was friendly and attentive--enjoyed our wine and beer, the hamburger was perfect but was disappointed with the mushroom risotto -- lacked Unami and the plating could have been more nicer with some garnish or green. Agree with the review from Linda L. that the atmosphere was lacking (felt like dining at a hall) given that it was dark outside--no view. The service was spot on and friendly, the manager and the chef were even present checking in on the diners. We hope to return since we feel the effort and care is there to make it a great dining experience. Hope this review is helpful.

I am a return customer here because the service and fare here is second to none. The people working and running this place care about your experience, and you can taste it in the food. My wife and I loved it so much that we chose this as our venue for our wedding. It was magical and memorable, as a wedding should be. If you haven't been here, you need to make it happen. You won't be disappointed.
