Just incredible, honestly. The food, the service, the overall vibe, it's the whole package. Excellent food (We had the pesto gouda chicken and bacon balsamic Brussel sprouts). Very pleasant, attentive staff. Such a great experience, we will be back!

I had French Onion soup and thought it was good, but there wasn’t enough broth. Also, I feel they added a little sugar it make it seem as though the onion were sweeter than they were. All in all it was an enjoyable experience and I will be back again.

Love everything about The Black Cat. Have had lunch, happy hour and dinner here. Food is always good and the service is spot on. You do need to dress warm though as it’s COLD in there.

Always love coming here, but they keep getting rid of some of my favorite items like the cauli-tots and they altered the Mac and cheese they have to have swiss which makes it very subdued and not very good. Other than that, the rest of what they have is good. Go with your gut or what you usually like to get at other places and you won't be disappointed.

The Black Cat resides on the top floor of Sycamore Square in Fairhaven. The charm of the old building has just the right amount of wear and patina to make it inviting. It seemed like every table in the place was next to or in full view of nearly floor to ceiling windows. The staff were helpful, friendly, and attentive. The food matched the vibe, well crafted and delicious, but not hoity toity. I had the French Dip, and the rest of the family had a mix of the menu, all happy with the choices they made. We will be back again.
