Outstanding service as usual. Our server was attentive and friendly and the food was delicious. Frieda was kind enough to come over to our table and introduce herself as the new manager. We even enjoyed meeting her. We received a complimentary dessert for our birthday! Love The Black Cat and will be back soon!

Definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. Seems to be a place to have appetizers and drinks instead of a full meal. The food was okay nothing too special but not bland. I would go again just to sit at the bar

This was our 3rd visit in less than two months and every time we have been treated to excellent service and food. From the hostess (Eilsa) who handled a delicate situation with compassion, poise and grace (we arrived late and they had to give away our table (fair play!) and she still managed to seat us w/in ten minutes of our arrival!), to our server (April) who provided attentive, exemplary service throughout, to Evie behind the bar who makes dangerously tasty cocktails, to the folks in the back of the house cooking up extremely tasty meals (including the best prime rib sandwich I have ever had), right down to the busboy who managed to always keep the table clean without being intrusive (i.e. I didn't get his name!) - it was all a five star experience that deserves special recognition. All-in-all a great dining experience at a reasonable price.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Fairhaven. It's located in a beautiful building, 3rd floor, built in 1890. So much character amd history. The ambience of the restaurant is so awesome. The food is even better. Nana's pot roast is the best and the cheesecakes are rich and delicious. Try a shot of Whiskey in your coffee. You'll love it 😁

You know a place is good when you’re there and already planning your next time back. All the food was so delicious and I can’t wait to come back and try some more dishes. The happy hour options were great and reasonably priced. Waitress was great. Definitely will be back!!!
