This was a nice little find! We've driven through Bellingham dozens and dozens of times but never ventured beyond Meridian Way in terms of actually stopping in town to get a bite to eat or what not. Today we decided to take a break from the norm and we stumbled upon this cute place and we're glad we did!

The food was delicious— The Domenic Pizza was a favorite with its pineapple and pepperoni... Lots of flavors. Enjoyed it thoroughly. High-end ambience of this restaurant is diminished by paper napkins and awkward pseudo roman decor on the walls. Waitress seemed unhappy and in a rush, not cordial.

Dominic's pick is a son's favorite pizza. The lunch sandwiches are a great choice when in a hurry. The restaurant is also kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. With exceptional food, including what some call the best pizza in Washington, and a quiet ambiance, Mambo Italiano Cafe is a highly recommended spot for a satisfying meal. The neighborhood is interesting and worth an after meal walk.
