A visit to the Black Cat is worth the experience if you're in the Bellingham area. The old building adds atmosphere, while the quality of service enhances the meal.
Be careful of food choices - mine were were all on the rich and creamy side. I'll go with aa better balance next time.

The food, service and atmosphere were great. I had the Prime Rib and Cheese sandwich with fries. My wife had the Grilled cheese and Tomato Soup. It can get a little boisy when busy though but it’s tolerable.

Another nice feature is the live music on the ground floor, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The food was delicious, and we really enjoyed everything we ordered.
I would definitely recommend making a reservation...
