The Filling Station - Sunnyland Station

Our server was amazing and friendly and kind, I gave her a compliment no one had before. The food here is always delicious and the atmosphere is great. A great diverse crowd of people and the staff is always so welcoming.

The filling stations food is really good I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwhich and it was probably the best i have had. Chicken was fresh and juicy it was perfectly coated in buffalo sauce with just the right amount of blue cheese. The only reason my review doesnt have 4 stars is the service. That aspect i was very disappointed about. The server had friends seated near our table so it took repeating ourselves a few times because he forgot what we asked. Definitely not bashing this place was delicious. Just if your looking for speedy and attentive service it might not be the place for you.

Nice selection of tasty burgers. Butter milk chicken brest. Great fried fish. And yummy milkshakes. Supper Friendly, fun staff. Clean and relaxing. Many options for vegetarians, and gluten free options.

Food is not always the same. They turn off online ordering at their convenience. Staff is slow to come to the register and would rather hang out at the bar. You have to wait to be seated.

My gut has been paying all night for the Chuckwagon. Very small burger for a big price… $15. $40 for burger/ fries and 2 HH cocktails. The happy hour (2-5) is very good, so stick with that menu if you can to get most bang for your buck. Service is spotty, oftentimes staff is more focused on socializing among themselves.

So we stopped in for a quick bite, and the food was awesome, Burger was perfect, Curley Wedge Fries and Crunchy Tater Tot's - all excellent, and of course the craft Beers ice cold. Service was spot on, as our waitperson had a great sense of humor in a teasing way that added to the fun.

What's really cool too, is all the retro decor from old Texaco gas stations, antique toys etc. - gave us lot's to talk about.

Only problems is - we live 5 blocks away - dam car has a mind of its own and just pulls right on in there.

Server was nice, atmosphere is fun, and the food used to be great. To save money I guess they switched to fast food quality burger patties and in my opinion it has ruined what used to be the best burger spot in Bellingham :(

Spent 30 dollars on a burger, fries, and a drink (non alchohol). Highway Robbery burger was super dry and small. Used to be amazing. Staff is great but the food got smaller and more expensive. Going to be hard for me to go back again because now im broke.
