My bestie & I LOVE the Waterfront. I don't live in Bellingham, but when I visit, I'm definitely hitting the Waterfront for the fun, food & best of all, our favorite bartender, Lisa !
My brothers recently came to visit from Maine, and I wanted to take them somewhere with a decent view, good food, and reasonable prices. I had heard that the Waterfront Tavern was such a place, but I'd never been there before. We went on a Sunday and it was fantastic! We were warmly greeted when we walked in. The bar felt comfortable -- a place where I could hang out and not be bothered. We selected a table by the window so my brothers could see out over the water. The server...
So I moved to Bellingham just about 2 years ago and a year later I finally settled into work and started looking for my divey neighborhood bar for night out and some underrated food. That’s how I ended up at the waterfront, and I haven’t looked back since.
The bartenders are great company no matter the shift, but Lisa is my favorite, she’s funny, excellent service and a fair pour.
