Great inexpensive bar with a beautiful view of the waterfront. The food is decent though I was told by our local friends who we were visiting it is best to opt for their more traditional bar food than their seafood options. The burger and onion rings we had were good. The highlights of this place are the waterfront view and the price of the food/drinks.
My bestie & I LOVE the Waterfront. I don't live in Bellingham, but when I visit, I'm definitely hitting the Waterfront for the fun, food & best of all, our favorite bartender, Lisa !
My brothers recently came to visit from Maine, and I wanted to take them somewhere with a decent view, good food, and reasonable prices. I had heard that the Waterfront Tavern was such a place, but I'd never been there before. We went on a Sunday and it was fantastic! We were warmly greeted when we walked in.
