I was passing by on a trip needing caffeine for the drive and this is probably the best coffee shop I’ve been to in years, from Alberta to BC and all the way down to Portland. This one stands out the most.
I ordered an Avalanche, it’s like this specific drink was made for me, I love it.
I wish I lived nearby so I could come here more, but I guess I will be adding a 30min detour every time I drive down to Seattle so I can stop by here and enjoy.
Staff was friendly and inviting and they were focused and hard working.

This store is one of my favourites. It's very cosy to hang out, great service by friendly staff and also clean (dining area & toilets).
Really pretty inside. We went when it was super quiet. Drink was a bit sweet for my liking but the raspberries scone was delicious. Just wish they had some nice music playing. Overall very cute and cozy!

My first visit to this coffee shop, while ordering my coffee, a fly came across my face, and then ended up by flying around in the pastries display! When I was looking at the fly flying there, around the pastries, the young lady asked me if I wanted to order something. My reply was no thank you I was just admiring the fly, flying around your pastries. Her response was 'oh okay' and then continued with her other tasks.

Upon entering the store, I noticed two employees behind the counter engaged in a lively conversation. Their previously cheerful expressions were replaced with a more indifferent, almost dismissive attitude.
The bear claw I ordered was a significant departure from the product displayed. Instead of the advertised pastry with ample filling, I received a basic croissant with a meager amount of filling and only two almonds on top. To make matters worse, despite my specific request for it to be served cold, it arrived piping hot.
The chai latte I ordered was equally disappointing. It was so excessively hot that it immediately burned the inside of my mouth. Even after 15 minutes, the temperature remained unbearable, making it impossible to enjoy.
I have always been a loyal patron, but this recent experience has left me questioning my continued support. I hope that these issues are addressed promptly to ensure that future customers do not have a similar experience.
