Based on the reviews, Texmex Mexican Restaurant is a clean and nicely decorated spot in Benton City, WA, offering some of the best Mexican food outside of Texas. The service is excellent and friendly, and the waitresses are super sweet and kind to kids. The food is head-shakingly delicious, described as truly five star real Mexican food, not American Mexican food. The menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Specific meals mentioned include the Oaxaquenos and Veracruzanos Tamales wrapped in banana leaf, which have incredible masa, and one of the best Mole sauces tasted outside of LA. The chilaquiles are outstanding and very authentic. Other menu highlights are marvelous tostadas and tacos, and special carne asada fries. The restaurant is a Benton City favorite, and while it may be a drive for some, the food is worth the trip. Customers were very pleased with the flavors and highly recommend this place.
