As Thai food goes, this place is mediocre at best. They upcharge for everything. Asked if they could add broccoli to a dish, they said for $3.50. Asked if they could add water chestnuts to my curry they said $3.50. The menu said $3.50 for extra meat... vegetables cost next to nothing and could be added as a service. No rice comes with dishes, extra $2.50 for a small bowl with one ice cream scoop of rice. The curry was not in my top 100 list. Asked for 2 star, didnt taste like...
Grew up in this area, been coming to Chada Thai for my entire life and it’s always been good, people are very friendly, but somehow within the last couple years their food has become even more excellent!!!!! There is no better Thai restaurant, I’ve been to lots of different places around whatcom county and Chada Thai is actually far and away the very best. Look no further, this is the place to eat in Blaine.
I ate here for the first time today, and really enjoyed the Pad Thai. I ordered my food to go and decided to eat part of it at the picnic tables outside with the view of harbor. A very kind gentleman (not sure if it was the owner), saw me and brought me out a glass of ice water. It was very kind and thoughtful. Would definitely come here again for the food, the amazing view, and the kindness of the staff.
