The entertainment was stellar, and the fish and chips couldn't have been better. Yes! I'll be back!

Flat iron steaks were very good, perfectly cooked. We agree with some of our friends, though, who think halibut fish and chips is a waste of very good fish. Halibut dries out a bit more than cod, so, while better tasting in other recipes, is no better than cod--but significantly more costly--when battered. This isn't a complaint about the quality of Blue Heron fish and chips; cod would simply be a better, certainly more traditional, choice for this preparation. The kitchen was very slow preparing our meals. We were with family we hadn't seen for a while, so this wasn't irritating. But it probably would have been under other circumstances.

there was plenty of seating when we arrived at 5pm on a Saturday night. Service was very good. Food was very good as well. It was good experience. The fireplace on a cold night was delightful.

Nice place. We went off hours and it was pretty dead (also off season) We only had salads but they were good. Bartender was not very knowledgeable and didn't listen when I asked for a tall. Would go back for dinner sometime and give it another try and I will update after that.

As Birch Bay residents, we've been going to the Blue Heron at the Semiahmoo Resort Golf course every other weekend for at least 5-years. The food is always phenomenal, the service excellent, and there's always a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There's also a great golf shop that carries some really unique pieces, right beside the restaurant in the same building. Highly recommended!

Best French dip sandwich in town!
We went for trivia night and were surprised we had to pay. Been to many trivia nights at pubs and restaurants - always free for players - the restaurant donates the prize - usually a $50 gift card to the restaurant. Otherwise the evening was fun, the food was decent.
Breakfast food was great. Lemon Ricotta pancakes were

We love this place! It's homey but elegant , the people that work there are friendly, happy to be there and helpful. Their food is consistently above average and desserts are always so good. The bartender makes very nice mixed drinks and I'm never disappointed when I try a new one. It's our go to for a relaxing evening of good food.

We were seated in the bar since the restaurant was booked for a private party (we should have been told this ahead of time). Ambience wasn't great. Food was ok. My entree was served in a bowl. The coffee crème brule was an odd flavor. Probably won't be back. Not a lot of competition for fine dining in that area even though it is a country club.
