GLUTEN FREE HALIBUT FISH AND CHIPS WITH THEIR OWN FRYER!!!!! little pricy for lunch - but portion where good!! (And it is the way of the world) And I will pay it for GOOD GF fish and chips!
My wife and I don't often go out to eat because we are pretty frugal and she is an excellent chef anyway. We're often disappointed by dishes or prices or both. However the food at Great Blue Heron Grill was absolutely delicious, the staff was just the right level of attentive, and the atmosphere was just what we were looking for on our night out. And the prices were quite reasonable!
Nice selection of beer on tap. All of our meals were great: halibut risotto, lamb ragu malfaldine, and fish and chips. Fish and chips were right up there with the best I've ever had. Batter and fish were light and crispy, far far better than the sorry greasy ones you get when a restaurant pulls the filet out of the freezer and drops it in the fryer.
