Stopped in for a burger at the recommendation of a friend and was super impressed by the quality of both food and service!! Eleanor was absolutely lovely, and the blackberry cobbler coffee special might be one of the best coffees I've ever had. The store itself was really fantastic too. They had a bunch of offerings from local artists, with some beautiful watercolor prints, a bunch of handmade magnets and postcards, a selection of knitted goods, and a bunch of other stuff....
We usually park at the parking area just at the bottom of the hill. Then we walk to this cafe and get coffee. Then we sit in the chairs and look at the boats and the beautiful water and the seals. There are signs that say only hotel guests can sit here and enjoy the view. This is ridiculous. There were beautiful, huge flower pots with dalias. We took lots of pictures. Enjoyed the view. Anne had a wonderful walk. This is definitely one of our favorite watcom county spots
Nice little shop was cute souvenirs. Can't go wrong with a chicken salad sandwich. Multiple bread options including gluten free. Would come back for a quick lunch while staying at the resort.
