Quaint little caboose car cafe with a great view and friendly happy atmosphere. And my breakfast sandwich was so tasty I almost bought another one for the road.
It's not often you can find a wonderful breakfast or lunch served in a real vintage caboose overlooking a marina. It's conveniently located in downtown Blaine and is an easy stop if you're coming to or from the border. They serve a nice variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as fantastic homemade pastries and terrific coffee. You can spend a lot of time just looking at the decor or you could sit outside and enjoy your coffee while looking at the marina. They even have water available for your canine companions. The prices are reasonable and the service is great. Highly recommend the Railway Cafe.
Absolutely the Best Breakfast in Blaine, WA
I had breakfast at this café and was thoroughly impressed. The food was incredibly delicious, made with high-quality ingredients, and served very quickly. The service was fast and friendly, making the whole experience even better. Without a doubt, this is the best breakfast spot in Blaine, Washington. Highly recommended!
This was a perfect breakfast/lunch stop for our family. The owners are charming people, taking time to chat and play with our kids while we waited for our food. Especially important when our little guy was absolutely fascinated by the caboose based building, and train-theme items. Food (sandwiches and a breakfast wrap) was superb. A rare case where I finished and thought they were undercharging for the size and quality of the meal. Espresso machine makes a great shot, and the drip coffee was good, too. As a family, we left saying we will come again, either as part of our border crossing routine, or when we are camping in the area, again.
Nice view of the bay, as well. Ample street parking for cars, and a good place to put bicycles.
TIP for rainy days: The images may not show that there is a fair amount of interior seating between the caboose and a full enclosed patio section (with heat).
Food was very good
Good service, great muffins, clean bathroom
We visited for the first time and were really impressed by the cute setting and delicious food. I particularly appreciated the gluten-free options!
The food is excellent here. Everything is made from scratch. Good portions. This is NOT fast food. You should expect a wait time ...it's busy and a tiny one person kitchen. Cute little caboose with great signs everywhere. Three tables inside. More seating is offered in covered walled patio with heaters. Two outdoor tables on sidewalk for nice weather. I had falafel pita....huge and delicious. They also have amazing homemade pastries.
Great cafe! Good people. Delicious coffee & baked goods!
They hate Canadians, will spend my money north of the border.

Such a cute little cafe! The young lady who made my iced coffee was so sweet and the coffee was delicious. The cafe is decorated with little signs that are fun to read while you wait.
Awesome place for a breakfast. Small but cozy and plenty interesting signs to read and enjoy while waiting for your order. The food was tasty and filling.
