Best food and service I have had in years. Had a five course dinner with my daughter. A different wine was paired with each meal. She and I loved it so much that we had to try the Sunday brunch. Once more...amazingly good time and good food.. Don't lose that chef! We already reserved next Sunday! The owner is hands on, making sure guests are happy and things run smoothly. I also like the actual vault door in the back of the dining area. Try the brunch.. Yelp isn't updated on the Sunday brunch hours.. should bring more business once updated.. it says closed on Sunday. Make reservations!

Great food, Kitchen is a win, but portion size could improve. Wines are great too, but service is sub standard after many visits, and the owner is often drinking & eating vs making sure customers are the focus. If service could be tightened up, it’s closer to 4.5 stars.

My wife Laura and I celebrated Valentine's Day at The Vault. The Five Course Dinner was delicious and wonderfully presented. Each course the presentation was perfect and the flavors inspiring. Our wait person Michelle was efficient and friendly, exceeded expectations. Thank you for the taste memories!

Great Dinner at The Vault!! Date night Saturday and we went to the Vault in Blaine. We haven't been in a while and chose to see what was new. I'm so glad we did! We ordered a glass of White Pinot Noir, a crab cake Caesar salad, Shepherd's Pie and the Veggie Lasagne. Everything was amazing! The star of the show was the lasagne - delicious and big enough for two. The woman who took care of us (I'm so sorry - we forgot her name!) was super nice and helpful too! When we finished and got into the car, we turned to each other to talk about how great the meal was and the owner, Dave, came out to chat and thank us for coming in tonight, which was a nice touch to end the meal. Tonight was a home-run at the Vault. We already are making plans to go back with more family and friends. I highly recommend eating there! One last thing - I haven't seen a better wine list around - Excellent choices and very reasonable wine mark-ups.

Everything was outstanding! We had the potato carrot soup that was creamy, flavorful and so elegantly served. We also had "Tea for Two" cocktails that had several flavors going on but EACH flavor was so perfectly paired, one did not over power the other, they were well balanced. The drink made for a pleasant treat to sip on.The servers all had a genuine smile and kindness to them and made sure we were taken care of.Lastly, the atmosphere was perfect! Somewhat dim lighting and decor made for a warm, cozy feel while still feeling very clean and airy.Thank you all for the wonderful work you do! You can tell there is a lot of love and passion put into this place. ?

The Vault is a posh upscale restaurant in Blaine. The food is plated perfectly, and the chef knows how to prepare and deliver a delicious meal. In a time when its so difficult to maintain motivated experienced staff, the Vault runs smoothly with their passionate staff delivering excellent customer service throughout the dining experience. I cannot forget to mention the 'generous' wine pours. I've had both bottles of wine from Europe and the house wine from one of the award winning wineries in Washington. Tonight I enjoyed the house Burgundy and it was not what you'd expect from a house wine, easily a $22-24 glass in Bellevue or Kirkland. My family and I love the Vault! If you're in Blaine...don't hesitate to give the Vault a try. The prices are quite modest and the dining experience won't easily be forgotten. You will return time and time again.

A wine list second to none. Better selection than any in Vancouver or Seattle. Someone has put some serious work in putting this together. Daily sheet of wines changes every week. Wine club is also great. Food is very good. All hand made in house. Best place for a relaxing night in Whatcom county.

Got invited to join a couple for dinner Friday The $24 smash burger was bad, both patties way overcooked, and it comes with a tiny side of greens The margharita pizza was nothing like it should have been Both dishes the other couple ordered were not done properly The kitchen needs new cooks desperately

The place is beautiful. Wonderful live edge tables. Comfortable seats. Lovely art on the walls. All of that doesn't mask the quality of the food, sadly. The $18 pasta was bland - it tasted like it was simply boiled without any seasoning. The squash had a similar problem - extremely bland with tasteless lentils. With drinks the bill was $60! It felt like robbery. The waitress didn't bother asking us if we liked the food - I'm assuming she already knows it's not good. Very disappointed. Update: the owner below states that he came up to us. I can categorically say that did NOT happen. We only interacted with the waitress. I confirmed this with my wife. To the owner: you must be thinking of another couple that ordered the exact two meals as us, but I can promise you no one asked us if we liked the food.

I have only been once so far and do plan to go again. First impression: service was lacking, staffwas nice but seemed too busy to service our table, I understand it was a busy night as well but had to make my 1 glass of water last a few hours. My cousin and I both ordered the waygu smash and both were over cooked (charred) and my wife and her son both ordered the fillet mignon and both were extremely under cooked. The pizzas that went by looked amazing though! The atmosphere was awesome, cool band playing (Veronica North). Really awesome and clean set up/setting. This is not meant to be a bad review, just being honest about my personal experience. I didn't leave angry just a little disappointed. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Maybe next time I'm there it'll be different! I'd definitely love to try out their flatbread pizza!

Wasn't sure what to expect being that I personally not a wine drinker, however, I had a very pleasant experience with my wife. The day we went they had a wine pairing. I was amazed how well thought out their pairings were. Wines I'd of never drank otherwise were so well compimented/enhanced with the food pairing for each dish. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. The atmosphere was very quiet and enjoyable to sit together and chat. They also have a very good selection of liquors for looking for something other than wine.
