We stopped for breakfast here to/from BC, and it’s a great spot. Quick service, delicious breakfast food, and very friendly. Despite other reviews, this place does accept credit cards (other reviews mention cash-only, but that is no longer true). Will be stopping here again!!

Talk about 'right when you walk in' having a good time! Amazing down to earth service and WOW what a atmosphere, from the basketball free throw on the floor, beautiful view of the marina, too the dope signs on the wall!

Great place with lovely local/old school charm. Price/portion relation is great, awesome food and cheerful/friendly service. Took two relatives visiting from Wisconsin and our 4-top all got different things. All the food was served piping hot, excellent quality, tasted amazing and didn't take long. Wifey poo loved the setting and the coffee as well. Highly recommended if you want a nice meal in a charming/cozy/old school location. There's dining seats at the bar or the interior tables... it's not too big of an area but that doesn't bother us. Ages when we were eating ranged from 5 months old to 80+ years old, with kids and folks in between. Not overly cramped, not overly loud... just a nice old school diner type atmosphere.

10/10 sausage gravy, the best I've ever had - better than anywhere in the South. So much umami/depth of flavor, not too salty, perfect ratios.
The staff has that southern charm and friendly like-family attitude. A real treat and feels like home.
The environment is so cozy and wholesome. A real original mom and pop joint.
The coffee is delicious, they brew it slow and keeps it balanced and not bitter.
Chicken fried steak was out of this world. The pancakes are sweet and fluffy.
