Stopped here while visiting from out of town, what an absolute gem! Staff greet you as soon as you walk in.Excellent food, perfect portions and great flavor! We ordered the corned beef topped over biscuits and gravy, the potatoes were crispy and the gravy was flavorful, egg was cooked perfectly too

Monte's Just A Bite, is a little slice of pure heaven in the simplest form of expression in homemade dining ....! Absolutely no tricks no gimmicks just old fashion traditional food cooked and prepare to mouth watering perfection. For the first time in 5ys of traveling to Birch Bay we decided to try this place and we found out what we been missing in 5ys.....! Each and very time we even thought of trying this place, the lines and the wait has been incredible long. This time we where able to get in without any problems and it was definitely worth the wait....! This place is straight old school shoulder to shoulder dining if it's crowded, wooden chairs and benches you wouldn't know this from the outside. But don't let the smallest of this place fool you, the portion of the food is extremely large and over the top tasty. The pancakes 🥞 were a mixture of unspeakable pure sweetness and the waffles 🧇 completely out of this world dipped in goodness.. The sides were simply made to order season to perfection, there was enough food for four... Shawn was totally awesome, making our dining experience extra special from start to finish. He seemingly was the wearer of many hats as well (waiter cook, and customer service representative) all of those positions were done friendly and professionally. Thank you Shawn for taking care of us, you sir are definitely a great representative for this little slice of pure heaven.......🙏🏿
