We love to pop in for fresh coffee or the daily lunch special. The staff - take excellent care of their patrons. We appreciate the variety of offerings from smoothies to wines/beers. The store is stocked with all the goods - from vintage Blakley Island clothing to ice, eggs, ice cream, and local art - and more. The whale bell is nearby and the view of the majestic islands - unbeatable. The store is a cornerstone to the islands.
I am so glad we found this place on Blakely Island - it was truly something special to experience. We stayed at the marina for one night, enjoyed wine and beer from the General Store. Everyone is genuinely friendly, happy and welcoming. Beautiful westerly views from the adirondack chairs, extremely sheltered marina location. They even have fuel. Great placed to stop - note that it is a private island, and that means you are limited to where you can explore, but for a stop...
