Really like this place. My wife says it reminds her of her childhood Mexican restaurants in Texas. The music isn’t loud, If there’s any, there’s lots of spaces between the tables you don’t feel like you’re sitting on top of each other and the food is excellent.
The Mazatlan has a very typical menu of what I call American-Mexican. I'm sure some would say it's not authentic and I'd agree with them, but I like American-Mexican. The four of us all enjoyed our food but I was particularly impressed with how new and nice and clean the restaurant was (all the way down to the bathroom). Roomy. Had two servers at first then couldn't catch anyone's attention. Didn't check to see how our food was.There were 3 standing around chatting down the way.
