Atmosphere and staff were great. Menu was difficult to decipher. Ordered the Chicken Yakisoba amazing, California Rolls and the grilled chicken. Menu stated GRILLED, later was told it was oven baked no flavor at all. Would try again for the sushi most definitely.

I’m not sure if I came in on an off day, but the first thing I noticed was how dirty the place was. Food everywhere on the ground and tables and there were barely any customers.
Then, it took till getting our food to just get our waters.
It left a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately, I can’t recommend this spot.

Such a great place to get sushi and ramen in Bonney lake! The ramen comes out at just the right temperature, and not too salty either! The prices are very reasonable here, you can get a bento box for around $25 with lots of food, and they also have a combo for around $27 where you can get a sushi roll and a bowl of ramen. The sushi is very good quality as well, the salmon was melt in your mouth buttery and you can tell that the sushi is fresh. The restaurant is very clean, minus the ice machine. We did notice that the iced water had a bunch of floaters in it, and alerted the waitress. The waitress was kind about it though and tried three times to bring us new water but the water kept on having floaters in it. Other than that, the staff here is excellent and we will definitely be coming again!

Been here a few times but decided to leave a review today. Did two of the 3 for $40 roll combos. We got 2 best friend rolls, a fire pearl, a crazy Joe, a three amigos, and a Tokyo roll. All of them were very good. Fish is always fresh, all the fried rolls are perfectly fried. I don’t normally care for yellowtail, but the yellowtail on the three amigos roll was very very good. The restaurant itself is clean and super cute. Service was great, and the server was super sweet and helpful when I had a couple questions. I had the house hot sake previously and I did enjoy it. Already thinking about when I can come back lol
We stopped by Sumo Sushi in Bonney Lake for lunch while spending time in the area with our family of four, and it turned out to be a great decision. Parking was easy and plentiful, which made arriving stress-free right from the start. One thing I immediately appreciated was the excellent food safety rating posted, because that always matters when dining with kids (especially for my wife). The restaurant felt welcoming and clean, and the atmosphere balanced casual comfort with a slightly upscale feel. The sushi rolls were fresh, flavorful, and nicely presented, and each bite showed good attention to quality. The lunch menu was also very reasonably priced, which made the overall experience feel like a great value. The kids meal was generous compared to most places. It’s honestly hard to find a kids menu that offers both variety and portion size the way Sumo Sushi does. They also had a wide selection of refreshing beverages, including Asian-style drinks that appealed to both adults and children. Service throughout the meal was attentive without feeling rushed. Our waitress stood out for her friendliness and efficiency, checking in at the right moments. The checkout process was smooth and quick, which made leaving with two kids much easier. Pricing felt fair considering the portion sizes and overall experience. The restaurant struck a good balance between family-friendly and quality dining.
