Had dinner at Anderson School's Tavern on the Square. Roasted Brussels sprouts were outstanding. Grilled chicken salad had best dressing I've ever tasted. Entree was asada style NY steak and fries topped with chimichurri. Fries and chimichurri the best. Steak on the other hand was terrible. About a third gristle, the rest cold and tough as leather. I ordered medium rare. It looked just right so it wasnt the cooking, rather just a lousy cut. Nevertheless been to T on...
We went for a light breakfast and coffee/tea. It was very quiet. We had a nice booth looking at the fireplace as I requested in the reservation. Our server was wonderful. She let us chat but checked in on us enough. I especially liked the lose cranberry orange loose tea. It was delicious and she refilled the hot water. There was enough tea for 4 cups during our leisurely breakfast. It is definitely our go to place for a nice breakfast for friends to catch up.
Table for 6, easy reservation. Server did a great job taking orders. Brussel Sprout appetizer was the best we have had. Prices for drinks and food were really reasonable. Salads were good. Only reason for the 4 stars were that the entrees took 30 minutes after the appetizers to get. Kitchen issue they said.
