Stayed there for two nights. Room was ok but the shower was musty and there was mold in the grout behind the sink faucets . It was noisy most of the time and the WI-FI worked intermittently. There wasn’t adequate parking. We were pleased however that the woman at the desk allowed us to check in early.
The staff was welcoming, helpful and made me wish that I worked there; from the front desk, to the store, to the tavern and tiki bar, just great hospitality. Our room was beautiful and it took a while to get to it because of wanting to read the stories and admire the artwork in the hotel. The food was delicious and the drinks yummy. If you’re near Woodenville, Washington definitely make plans to stop at McMenamins Anderson School in Bothel, Washington. It’s a former school tranformed into a unique Hotel Complex. There’s a movie theater, swimming pool, tiki lounge, restaurant, sports bar (the woodshed), a whisky shed and gift shop.
