We we went here for an early mother's Day brunch... Such a great location and the food was on point. Parking can be a little tricky if you try to park in their lot but there's plenty of street parking. Highly recommend this place.

Summary: a cute local spot for brunch with kind wait staff. We were seated outside as we came on a weekend morning and didn’t have reservations, but the indoor ambiance from what we saw was quite pleasant!Pros:• they serve classic brunch options• the eggs Benedict was decent• average priced food and drinks for the area• service was very kindCons:• parking can be limited and street parking is sometimes hard to find• long wait times sometimes if you don’t make reservations in advance, but they do have outdoor seating that usually has a table open• egg cheese croissant was dry and bland

We had the tangiest salad and BLT ever. I ordered the rhubarb and strawberry salad, and my daughter ordered a BLT. I could have asked them to remake it, but the behavior of the hostess who seated us was extremely disrespectful. She acted as though seating us and showing us where to order was a favor. We just wanted to eat our food and leave, firmly deciding never to return.

Great atmosphere, service, and food. Cost for quality was outstanding, and the toast for our friend who's birthday it was were an added touch of class.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The cottage, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout the evening. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal. But it was the food that truly stole the show. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with flavor and crafted with care using the freshest ingredients. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a delight for the senses. What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the impeccable service. The staff was not only attentive but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience exceeded expectations.Overall, The cottage is more than just a place to eat—it's an experience. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a delicious meal, I highly recommend indulging in the culinary delights and warm hospitality that this gem of a restaurant has to offer.

The best ambiance! Live music with Jeannie Rak! We had the vegan Lasagna bolognese and bougie Bothell bourbon sour. ? such fun vibes! ?

This place is always on our list of places to go, not only for atmosphere, but for the amazing staff and wonderful food! We are always treated with respect and are well taken care of!I just watched an unfortunate situation unfold, with clearly blatant disregard for the comfort of the staff and the patrons alike. A customer was snapping at an employee and clearly not understanding etiquette in a restaurant. They were demanding silverware, while being quite rude. When they were addressed by the staff, and then the manager, they unnecessarily escalated the situation by screaming at the staff. They were promptly asked to leave and even tried to insinuate some sort of racial difference and lack of understanding. They spoke English, and clearly enough to understand snapping at employees isn’t ok. Unfortunate. The staff was incredible, and handled it with absolute precision and care. I applaud them for handling it with such grace, even while being disrespected and lied about. I for one am grateful, as the rest of us patrons were, to see them leave. The Cottage is great, as are the staff and management that run it. Cheers!

Was great! Went for my birthday, family brunch. Those times they were quite stingy about outside food.-The family brunch, i brought a gluten free muffin for my mom (she’s celiac) and were petty about it. I don’t get why a GLUTEN FREE food item was a problem… we still got many other items and still gave them a 20% tip.-My birthday, I had my nephew join us and they were also petty about a donut he was finishing up. It’s a CHILD.-went recently and they were better (plus it wasn’t as busy) but bummed to find they don’t have labeled on their menu that dietary restrictions are an upcharge.Dietary restrictions: gluten free… they have it on their menu but they don’t have that it IS an up charge!

Cozy little brunch/breakfast place in downtown Bothell. Parking can get a little tricky to find but it is definitely worth it. Everything we tried was fantastic, and I can't recommend it enough. All the dishes had amazing flavors and the ingredients were all great quality. Even though it gets fairly busy here, the atmosphere is really wonderful so don't hesitate to wait for a seat if you need to.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful spot, and let me tell you, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I popped in between meetings looking for a place to get some work done, and I couldn't have been happier with what I found. As soon as I walked through the door, I felt like I was wrapped in a warm hug. The atmosphere was so cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to settle in and focus. Now, let's talk about the food. I decided to try their gluten-free turkey Havarti sandwich with a side of tomato soup, and oh my goodness, it was out of this world. Seriously, that tomato soup might just be the best I've ever had. It was rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. One thing that really stood out to me was the amazing service. Not once did I feel like I was being rushed or judged for pulling out my laptop to get some work done. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. It was also great to see how many regulars they have. Everyone seemed so happy to be there, and it really added to the overall vibe of the place.Oh, and did I mention the food options? Whether you're gluten-free, vegan, or vegetarian, they've got something for everyone. And don't even get me started on their drink selection – it's seriously impressive. All in all, I had an amazing time here and I can't wait to go back. If you're looking for a cozy spot with delicious food and great service, do yourself a favor and check this place out. You won't be disappointed! Highly recommended!
