This was my first visit to The Cottage for brunch, and I have to say it was a lovely experience. My server was friendly and helpful, the matcha latte was tasty, the coffee cake was moist and delicious, the vegetable hash was pretty darn good (the giant chunks of broccoli that were impossible to cut with the provided butter knife could have been smaller and easier to eat, or a better knife provided), but overall it was a great experience. I will definitely be back to try the other...
We had a lovely brunch at The Cottage on our second visit. After a nice espresso, I had the Turkish eggs -- poached eggs with a mildly spicy sauce and some nice bread. It was a great change from a traditional breakfast. I did add a side of bacon. Overall the whole group had excellent food attentively served. We will be back.
I was back today and had the shrimp and grits. Really tasty with just the right amount of spice. This place is special.

But, stop making people order from a QR MENU. Ridiculous. I do not want to be on my phone any more than necessary. When I told them my phone doesn't scan QR codes and may I please have a physical menu, they handed me..... an IPAD.
QR code menus should be an option, NOT a requirement to order from.
