I want to love this place so badly, but I just don't. Its subpar American Mexican food. The people and service are phenomenal, but unfortunately the food isn't up to snuff for me personally.

I've always had a nice experience at Viva Jalisco. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere with authentic Mexican vibes. The food is always good—I particularly enjoy the Enchiladas Jalisco, the tortilla soup, and the carne asada. Their horchata is also a solid choice. For dessert, the authentic flan is delicious and worth trying. The staff is friendly, and in my experience, the pricing feels reasonable.

One of our top 5 local restaurants. Norma, the owner, is an absolute gem. The food comes from the soul here. You’re treated like family. I can’t say enough great things about this eatery.
