When I lived in Mount Vernon, WA this was where my Oysters came from! We would buy a bag and BBQ! Some were left "on the half shell" for those of us who wanted them in their natural state! Wonderful and sweet! I sure do miss them!

They have MOVED their RETAIL STORE FRONT to Samish Gold Seafood (look for their info up on Yelp or FB under the name "Samish Gold Seafood"). The phone number listed on here has been discontinued. Don't make that long drive and go to this address like I did on Wednesday (6/10th) only to be told by the neighbor that lives next door that Blau Oysters Co. no longer sell oysters at this location even with the website and road signs still up. The new location is not far and is actually closer then this location. They are now located at: 9015 Avon Allen Road, Bow WA 98232.

Blaus has had that best oysters on our Coast for at least 50+ years. That’s as long as I have been going up to buy from them. Well worth the beautiful drive up to get them.
Love this place. Used to go to Taylors until they started making a lot rules and very expensive. The owners are like family. Very low key setting and absolutely fun and a place to relax. Prices are amazing and service has been great. Drive from Bellingham at least twice a month if not more!

Great staff and great selection of fresh oysters and other seafood! Located right on the bay you can actually see the boat out there collecting the oysters such a cool spot!

I show up at 4 on Saturday with a hour to spare (they say they close at 5) and no is aroundwith the shop locked up. I try calling and it says that no one is there to take my call. I hear it is good oyster but bad customer service ?
