We had a leisurely lunch on the outdoor patio. The food was great and the cocktails were delicious and festive. The only complaint is that the service was slow. It took a long time for the food, but we did not have anywhere to go and the drinks were good. The server took a very long time to get back to us after serving. We had to ask for our check. I think it was because just one server was working the entire patio. We did not skimp on the tip as we don't think it was her...
- Disappointed in choice of Ling cod caddy ganty. Cream cheese came out more like milk (I should have known better). - Copper River Salmon poke had good flavor but was disappointing since it was cooked clear through vice seared. - “strawberrillini” was interesting but would not order again. - crab, shrimp, artichoke dip was JUST RIGHT - as usual. - service was very good - as usual
Tonight we celebrated my husband's birthday at Anthony's. The food was great as usual. The service was disappointing. After our waitress greeted us and took our orders, once she brought our drinks, we didn't see her again until she delivered the check. No check to see if the food was prepared well, no opportunity to order more drinks, no chance for dessert or coffee. And we told her we were celebrating a birthday!
