Just finished a delicious brisket lunch. My husband got the brisket sandwich and our friend got the asada burrito…all excellent! We will definitely be back!

Ignore the 5 stars from Service and Atmosphere as I Dashed..If I had a critique it would be that the BBQ sauce was plain. The Bark and smoke was on par for a proper brisket and rib cook, forego the Texas toast and get better at mac & cheese, coleslaw and most importantly CORNBREAD

LOCAL BBQ place. ~$45 for 2 people- ordered the 1/2 pound mix & match meat (brisket & pulled pork). The brisket could have been a bit leaner. Included 2 sides & Texas toast. Some eat in tables.

I genuinely love coming to this restaurant. It’s well worth the drive, every time. I especially like their Pulled Pork and Mac and cheese. The prices are fair and affordable. The portions are generous. With staff always being attentive and kind. I’ve brought friends and family here since they opened. We order a variety of items and they’ve always been delicious. Parking is simple and right off the highway. We are so lucky to have such a good BBQ spot locally.

Went there Saturday and the food was good but 3 hrs later me and 3 other people had the worst experience in the restroom!!!! Its must of been the Mac and cheese when my friend called to explain WE ALL GOT SICK the person when asked to speak to the manager was told he was in the restroom!!!! Well maybe he ate that food himself lol

Brisket and burritos were delicious.

jfresh kicksass

God the brisket burrito. Talk about a HUGE burrito! The flavor profile and amount of everything inside being so well balanced was great! I barely finished it and I am 6ft7 and nearly 300 pounds.. its big.

Also got the 1/2 pound of pulled pork with mac and cheese and beans for the wife. Everything was amazing. Some of the best BBQ we have had in a long while.

The guys working inside were very friendly.

I would recommend stopping here to everyone. You won't leave hungry or disappointed.

Let's say there was nothing left after. The brisket and ribs were amazing. The meat fell off the bone and the brisket was tender and had just the right amount of fat on it. Definitely coming here again!

And the lady at the counter, I think her name was Brittany, super helpful in recommending my meal.

I haven't eaten here (yet!) but yesterday (July 4th) my dog bolted from my yard afraid of the fireworks. He ended up all the way down at BBQ Tex Mex. The lovely staff here held onto him and took care of him until we made contact and could come down to get him from them. They had been on their way out when he showed up, so they stayed around past when they would have left.
In times like these, community like this is so so important. I know my household has a new favorite lunch spot. 🥰 Thank you so much to the BBQ Tex Mex staff for making sure our Lich Dog was safe!
