The BEST beer in so many styles brewed in german fashion that is so drinkable. A variety of styles that change regularly plus their all-time bests available year-round. If you pop in try the kolsh, it’s one of their best sellers and for good reason. Outstanding food—texas style BBQ prepared on site in their specialty smoker, weekly specials that will blow your mind, vegetarian options, unique and comfortable ambiance that changes through the seasons, great indoor and breathtaking outdoor space, outdoor heaters and in the right circumstances the fire pit might be lit, weekly+ bands, monthly paint and sips, open mic nights, craft fairs through the summer, trivia every 3rd Thursday, and a very mellow place to enjoy a pint or two when there’s not an event. Friendly staff that’ll make you feel right at home and make it hard to not say “just one more.” If you’re driving through Gorst it’s the best kept ‘secret’ right off of HW 3. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

Came back for seconds and stumbled into Octoberfest. A good time for all

The beer is always exceptional but add German food and you’ve got a heck of an Oktoberfest!!!

We come here regularly because of the great company, atmosphere (it’s always so cozy & comfy inside), it’s kid friendly and they have delicious German style beer (and a huge variety of canned ciders and delicious homemade root beer). It’s also great sitting outside during the summer, their patio is huge and plenty of seating and heaters if there’s a chill.

Good beer and live music. Nice place to hang out and share sea stories.

This brewery prides themselves as a German oriented style craft beer maker but they lack a hefe and Witbier. They did make a Czech Pilsner as well as a German Pilsner but it feels like they whipped up a recipe and never tried to dial it in; they just taste dark and not light like the style calls for. Been here several times over the last few years and it's just always the same beers on tap and lacking innovation like all the other nearby breweries. 3 stars for tucked away location and great outdoor seating.

I walked into here and immediately felt at home, thanks to Polu, the resident brewery dog. I tried the 11 beers they had on tap (10 were theirs, 1 was a guest tap) and enjoyed all of them. The Czech-style pilsner was great and so close to being what I'd get in the Czech Republic. They had German foods for Oktoberfest when I was visiting, and the hot mustard was phenomenal! The owner and employees were super friendly and helpful. I asked if there were nuts in the apple strudel, and one of the employees said they were fairly certain it was nut-free, but called the baker to confirm. When I expressed how much I enjoyed the hot mustard, they sent some home with me and passed along the recipe. I bought a liter stein to take home, and knowing that I eventually would need to either fly or ship it home, they wrapped it in bubble wrap for me.Food: Delicious, and they care about allergies.Beer: Great, wishing it wasn't across the country from home.People: Friendly and helpful.

Ended up here by accident as other breweries didn’t allow both dogs and kids but this place did. They have a great variety of beers from Europe as well as smoked meat! Loved our flights as well as the pretzel and smoked brisket plate.

You should go meet your neighbors. Best people ever, the beer is always solid. Closest place to cheers on the west coast. If you like smoked food well, you are in luck, and the Chili oh the Chili. Thank you deep draft. Drink Deep.

Amazing oasis of AWESOMENESS tucked into Gorst! Definitely worth a visit. Great beers and AMAZING BRISKET TACOS. Live music, outdoor seating and everywhere you look flowers and gardens. Highly recommend! The beers are mostly European style and well crafted.
