Food was great along with the staff. But what got me was the service fee when I got my bill. This whole forcing us to pay a forced gratuity and calling it a service fee is not ok. If your service is not that great then I shouldn't have to be forced to give you a tip. Regardless of how big my party was. And trust me I'm all about tipping you if I feel your as a server deserve it. So I will not be going back to Family Pancake house.

Family Pancake house makes the best gluten-free waffles and pancakes but don't go to the Kitsap Way one. They always have some sort of excuse why they can't make gf waffles. Go to Wheaton Way instead. They're always willing to clean the waffle iron.Dietary restrictions: Not Kitsap Way. Do Wheaton Way instead

I leave 4 stars because I've ordered in the past and gotten great food. Today? I blame the delivery service. So here is my recommendation to just go to the restaurant, as I will in the future. The inedible cold food I got today looked stellar,and was very generously portioned. I love the fact they do homemade hash as well as tinned and let you know--I admit I love a crispy tinned corned beef, but I want to expect it.

But we got a table almost immediately and the wait staff were speedy and on top of refills too. Everyone enjoyed their food and it wasn't overly expensive. Much better menu and quality of food than a Denny's. Recommended the very berry & nut waffle, it was delicious!
