I admit, I probably eat Mexican (well, the American version of Mexican) food more than the average person does. There's a reason for that, however, and this restaurant does a great job of demonstrating just what that is... First off- the people here are so welcoming and friendly. From the hosting staff to the bussers, taking care of the customer is priority number one. Secondly- the food is outstanding, and finally- the drinks from the bar are great! This time, my boyfriend and I were that lame couple that ordered the exact same thing (aside from the fact that I had a house margarita and he ordered the MUCHO Margarita... Holy Mucho mi amigo) and both really enjoyed our meals. We ordered the tres amigos, which has their savory chili colorado, their tender and delicious chili verde, and my favorite, chili rellano. With rice and beans of course. So good! They do a great job at La Costa. Gracias ustedes, buen trabajo!

While no longer "Azteca" they still have the same menu and fantastic selection. Service is always great and quick, never had a bad meal!

This place is really not worth the price. The fried items are dry, lukewarm, and generally unappetizing. The crunchy tacos are the only thing I find edible there and that's not saying much because those are hard to mess up. The ground meat in the tacos are the consistency of Taco Bell so definitely nothing special. Hope I can find a better Mexican restaurant in this area.

Carpet smells like wet dog or body soil. You can smell it as soon as you walk in to door. Other then that, everything was fine. Good food, prompt service.

Not impressed at all. We had a few platters for a catered business event and the food was just miserable. The meats were dry, the fried foods tasted like they were fried in old oil, and everything arrived at room temperature. I wouldn't recommend this place and I definitely wouldn't spend my own money here.
This place is awesome, as far as service (normally) goes, and food is fantastic. But the prices have really started to get outrageous. A dinner that used to be about $15 is now $24! And that was just in a couple short years.

The food was really good!!! They have $6 dollar all you can eat tacos on the bar side on Tuesdays and Thursdays and they offer chicken and ground beef with hard or soft tacos. Theh also have horchata which is my favorite drink. The service was excellent also, Jose was extremely friendly and fast.
