My mother insisted we go there for her birthday in December. The food was bad. It was below Applebee’s quality. She was able to eat some of hers. I had the steak. It was poorly plated and almost entirely fat. I was not allowed to swap it out for something else. The baked beans were great at first, until I hit what seemed to be a pool of pineapple juice. This was poorly plated. I vomited what I did eat and was sick for an entire day.

I have not been into McClouds for sometime. Saturday I went and I was SHOCKED! The food was amazing 🤩 I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT with fried okra. Food was hot. My cheese was melted. It was a well done portion. The fried okra was crispy and not soggy at all. You guys are sleeping on McClouds right now because the food is amazing, the menu is outstanding. I can’t wait to go back. I'm not sure what was better, the food or the service. I had the ribeye steak and it was hands down one of the best steaks I've ever had. we found it by accident while driving through town, but we will be making intentional trips there from our home in Kent.
