I don't need anything off the menu except for pie and pie shakes but they are phenomenal the service was good and it definitely feels like a better atmosphere I don't know if they've recently done a little bit of remodeling but I may still have the same layout

I stopped in to get one of Shari's famous lemon meringue pies to serve my guests at home. When I cut into it the meringue was sticky and gummy, and the crust was soggy. Definitely NOT fresh! I returned it for a full refund. I took notice of other pies in the case, specifically a key lime pie and a razzle dazzle triple berry pie. Pictures attached. They were definitely not fresh either. I will not be back.Since writing the above review, the manager reached out to me. He apologized for my negative experience and assured me that this is not the normal standard, and that quality control measures have been reviewed with renewed emphasis. He also gave me $30 in Shari's coupons to help restore my faith in their products.Further, I would like to add that this was for me an isolated incident. A few weeks ago I visited the restaurant for lunch with a friend. We both got their BLT, which was amazing! We were raving about how good it was when the waitress came to our table and offered us free slices of pie (every Wednesday at Shari's is "free pie Wednesday"). In remembering this recent pleasant Shari's experience, I realize how much I value having this iconic restaurant in our neighborhood, amidst the many new fast food establishments springing up in the new "Bremerton Station". So I will keep supporting Shari's with my business. I would hate for them to go away.

4/20/24 munchie stop in! Definitely hit the spot! Only came in for the pies which deserve a 5 star, and only didn’t because I haven’t actually ate the diner food yet. But hands down, if you want variety, by the slice or a whole pie and never to be disappointed, Shari’s got you covered, you won’t want to leave with just one slice or one pie! Lol

Last week we came in for dinner and the hostess seated us, took our drink order, came back and asked if we would like anything besides ice water. We didn't order ice water, we ordered other drinks and she forgot. There were only 3 other tables with customers in the whole place! When she brought me my coffee, there was no silverware to stir my coffee. I got up to get one from her and instead of handing me silverware for all of us, she handed me a spoon. When my father-in-law needed a spoon, he got up to get one from another table. When she came back around and we asked for our silverware, she brought a pile and dropped it on the table for us to sort it out and walked away. Then when I ordered my dinner, I asked what the vegetable of the day was. She told me and I asked for something else. She said that's the only vegetable they are serving that day and was visually annoyed. I told her fine, I won't eat it then and then she offered a double helping of mashed potatoes which I said ok. While we were waiting for our order, I noticed the cook on her phone half the time while she was cooking. The whole time we were eating, not once did the hostess come over to see how we were doing or if we needed anything, or to refill my coffee. The service was the worst I've ever had in a Shari's restaurant. I will not go back there. Like I said before, she only had 3 to 4 tables in the whole restaurant to deal with so it wasn't like she was busy.

I was just here on 3/10/2024 at 10am and ordered a build your own omelette and my friend ordered a hangover burger. The server was ignoring me the whole time, took away my menu as I was ordering off it, and did not bring me the correct menu item. She even walked away as I was ordering as if she didn't care what I wanted. When we got our food, she only asked my friend if the food was good, and I didn't get the chance to tell her that my order was incorrect. I felt ignored and lost my appetite. It made me really sad, since I came to breakfast to relax and get the service and hospitality I know I can count on at Sharis, but the server made me feel more stressed out. When we were still eating the server asked my friend if we were paying on one ticket or two, and I responded one, but she ignored me and waited for my friend to confirm my answer. I was actually the one who ended up paying, and I could tell it took her by surprise. We weren't done eating by the time she had closed our tab and had me pay for the $40 order. I don't usually claim any sort of discrimination since I know working service jobs can leave you feeling really crunched for time, it's really stressful being a server! But our server Debbie just made me (and not my friend) feel unwelcome and like my business was not appreciated. I wish I could've said something about my order being wrong or asked to be moved to another section but our server wouldn't even look me in the eye even though I was paying. I grew up going to Sharis and am a lifelong Washingtonian but this experience will make me think twice before recommending this location to folks visiting and I am doubtful I will be able to go back without feeling unwelcome.

Year ago-Pretty decent burger.1/27/24 approx 7pm, not busy- Table was sticky. Floors were sticky. Lamp shade had this nasty stain on it. These observations are pretty consistent over the past 4 visits. Unfortunately, the restaurant has smelt pretty bad over the past few visits also. Not sure what is going on. Used to love coming here, was hoping things would improve but they haven't. Waited over an hour for our food. However quality of food was excellent .
I came to this Shari's at 10:26pm and the doors were locked already and once someone seen me at the door they came out and said they don't serve anyone within 30 minutes of closing (they close at 11pm) all I wanted was a milkshake to go. Very disappointed in the service and attitude of the

We went there on Christmas day. There was a small wait, but we were seated quickly. The food was served hot. The waitress was pretty busy, but she was on too of us. The food was delicious and hot.

Service was friendly, but slow. The serving size of fries with a sandwich was extremely small. I would have thought it was for a small child. The appetizer combo for the price was very skimpy too. The food was okay, but nothing I would return for.
