Best around, better than the all you can eat place down the street. We enjoy the freshness of this sushi. The service is great.the atmosphere is calm, good for date night. Private booths to sit in. The rolls aren’t just stuffed with empty fillings of breading and cheese, they give you totally what your money is worth.

So glad to find this! Great service and a modern Japanese restaurant feel. I wish it was open a little later, but other than that… will be back!

I got home tonight hungry and unwilling to cook. My kid wanted sushi, the guy wanted steak, I wanted nearby. We tried Yamazaki's. I've seen them before but did not forsee this gem hidden beside my local super market.

We were pleasantly surprised by the level of personal service the staff provided us. The menu was so large it took us some time and negotiation to decide how to try everything. The food was delicious, the order was spot on.

Now I say spot on, which it was, but the gentleman accidentally put my appetizer order in wrong, he immediately fixed it and came and notified me of the mistake and provided me the accidental ordered item for free. It was cream cheese stuffed jalapenos and they were amazing, the happiest accident of my life and my new favorite.

I also decided to try sake for the first time, the gentleman offered a delicious recommendation. And when I told him we've not mastered chopsticks he made beginner chopsticks without judgement.

The kid already wants to return for dessert. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.

And for those wondering we ordered a ridiculous amount of food for 3, took home left overs enough to feed 3 more, for 6 people we paid $150, a great deal!

We had a great experience! Sushi was super fresh and flavorful. A little spicy but that was my own fault for not reading the menu carefully. The Kitsap Lake roll is AMAZING. Staff was also all wonderful and attentive. We will definitely come back.

I ordered food to go, Teriyaki chicken, octopus balls and katsu chicken it came with me so soup teriyaki chicken was delicious didn't have to hide under dark sticky sauce so it was charred and flavorful, chicken katsu crispy on the outside moist and juicy on the inside, the octopus balls were delicious as well as the miso soup had plenty seaweed and green onion in it, next time I will try their sushi

Mid tier sushi for top tier prices
While everything appeared beautifully prepared, the flavor just wasn't there - very bland like grocery store sushi/sauces

Tea served cold, but very quickly made

Went to dinner on New Year’s Eve and they were slammed busy. Every table full and a ton of takeout orders! The entire staff was hustling to get the orders out and did so very professionally! Our server was SO kind and apologized multiple times for the wait. Working in food service myself, I was not bothered by the wait one bit. She also gave us some goodies on the house, which was such an awesome surprise. Great staff and great food! Big props to the team that worked tonight! Ya’ll did awesome! Thank you for a great meal :)

My sons took me for my birthday, I'm not a fan of the food but they loved it. I did like the strawberry saki though. Staff was very friendly and efficient the place was really crowded and could probably use a bigger area. Not a real fan of the music either but I'm old and picky, lol.

This is one of the only places around that serves udon, and the only one worth getting. If I could make their udon myself I would eat it every day, but I'm a terrible cook, so I have no choice but to come back here over and over and over and over....!

A Good spot for sushi in kitsap county at a reasonable price. We get 4 rolls, soup and a side and it’s usually around 60-70$.
4 stars only because I’ve had much fresher sushi in Seattle. But for kitsap, this is our favorite place

For a place that charges ~$27 for "sukiyaki", they didn't get the cut right. The meat was also heavily undercooked, borderline raw, which I did not realize until I was having extreme difficulty trying to bite into a piece. At this point, I'm concerned about potential food poisoning from how undercooked the food was. For those who don't know, Sukiyaki is typically a hot pot dish served with EXTREMELY THIN slices of beef—this is just another example of bastardization. The Mr. Chen roll was probably mid at best, and the curry plate was not served with appropriate utensils, let alone it's limited for those who may have restricted diets (it's a beef curry with beef bits in it, served with chicken katsu). The best thing is probably the Takoyaki, which is an appetizer.

The waitress and server were nice, but it took a while for them to take our order during a lull, and we weren't checked on at all until it was time to pay the bill.

The place itself looked like a weeaboo teenager's bedroom, and it was incredibly dark in there. Some may argue it's for the atmosphere, but it was so poorly lit that I, someone without severe vision impairment, had to squint to read the menu. This is an accessibility issue, to put it lightly.

The prices overall are not worth it. Save yourself the time and go to their competitors in the area like Hakata or Oishi—or take the drive to Tacoma to try out Kura Revolving Sushi.
