Rented the party room a few weeks ago to celebrate my dads 60th birthday. Had close to 50 people and the staff was absolutely amazing. Food came out in a timely manner and everyone loved what they got. This was my first time and a lot of others at prairie tavern and we were all super impressed. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items!

The experience was great, until our server instead of handing us a check or check out reader came to the table and announced for everyone around us the amount of our bill. Was taken aback by this especially since it wasn’t anyone’s business how much the bill came too and definitely not the people we were paying for. Don’t know if this is how they present the check but very uncouth behavior.

Roast beef dip.... just get it. Upgrade your chips to a side salad, you'll thank me later. Awesome service, clean AF, with friendly bartenders. And I just love that they maintain a family friendly environment most times that keeps everyone friendly and fresh. PT remains a popular fave for those reasons and so many more. If you haven't been- try it, you'll be back ?

No reason to hold back on the rating! I've always liked it here, but it's been a few years and today was a nice reunion with PT.Brought my fiancee for lunch and they did not disappoint!
We stopped for an early dinner on our way home from Olympia. We had not been in for quite a while and liked the remodel. Rachel wad a very attentive hostess, however, the food was subpar. We had the Prairie Burger to share ($3.00 fee) and tator tots. It was very bland. Not sure if we would go back based upon the bland food and charging a "share fee" ?

Almost an hour wait for one burger. That’s excessive. Bun not even toasted. And the grand total for a side salad, burger, beer and glass of wine…$52. New owners need to change things up and not worry so much about atmosphere or how many tv’s you can squeeze in. I miss the old PT.

Hadn't been to PT for a long time, moved out of the area. Now, back in the area and pleased to return. Friends made the recommendation and now, they're on our rotation with a monthly visit to try different menu items. Side note, I don't like Brussel sprouts, never have. Their fried Brussel sprouts were pretty dang good, I went out of my wheelhouse and tried something I shouldn't have liked, and they converted me. Enjoyed all the items I've tried so far.

Parking: Even when busy we’ve never had a parking problem.Kid-friendliness: We bring our grandkids in often and they love eating there…especially when we’re in the back room where they can run around without bothering anyone, getting in the servers way, or getting into areas kids aren’t allowed.
