We went to beautiful downtown Burbank to visit our son and daughter-in-law at their new address. They offered to take us out to lunch at the Beautiful Burbank Tavern!We were introduced to Alex(the owner?) We were seated at a buddy bar with an up close view of a huge flat screen TV. The tavern is rustic but clean with, what appears to be, a very good kitchen. The food was excellent and the staff is pleasant and efficient.Beer/wine is ice cold and they brewed a fresh pot of coffee....read full review
It's your typical redneck dive bar, and that's what I like about it. Bartenders are all a bit rough around the edges, but it just hides how wonderful they are. We go for karaoke on Saturdays hosted by Larry Ganz and have a blast every time. Food is pretty good. It's your typical deep fried fare.

Old school tavern takes me way back in time. Friendly personal, even the locals. Bought some hamburgers to take back to camp at Charbonneau Park. Everyone liked the food, had a beer while we were waiting. Would definitely go back when I'm in the area.
