⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️ BBQ that tastes like home Warms your heart and the lady who works there is a delight ❤️
Cute, cozy & clean. Friendly staff. The ribs are some of the best I've had in Seattle.
This wasn’t my favorite style of BBQ. We went for dinner mid week. I shared the brisket dinner with mac and cheese along with a brisket entree. I wish we had tried more than one meat, because the brisket was rather dry. The brisket dinner would have also been enough to split, but that wasn’t made very clear when we ordered. The brisket was thinly sliced and had a tangy bbq sauce, but too dry to enjoy on its own. The mac and cheese had a good cheese combo, but the noodles were way overcooked that made it rather gluey. Even though the staff was friendly, I’m not sure I’d come back again.

The brisket was pretty dry and didn’t have much flavor… the Mac and cheese noodles were overcooked and there was a lot of cheese but it didn’t taste very cheesy or seem to have any other seasonings. The bbq sauce was really good, I got it on the side. I usually prefer the meat on its own but in this case the sauce was necessary. The cornbread was fine.
This is a new place we decided to look at for something different it is fantastic. Good home cooked meal thank you I will be returning a lot

Best BBQ I’ve had in years—and thankfully close to my house! If you’re looking for a family owned, Southern joint, this is it. The mom and daughter were tag teaming the front and kitchen. Super friendly, upbeat and welcoming. The place itself had plenty of street parking in front, but also a side parking lot. Inside the restaurant there are a few high top tables, however, it seems like take out or pick up is most popular.
We ordered the Chef’s Sampler Dinner which was more than enough for the two of us…and a second meal the following day! It comes with one of everything: Two sides of your choice (can never go wrong with Mac n cheese or greens), two corn bread slices, hot link, ribs, chicken, pulled pork and brisket. It’s hard to say which items we loved the most, but it’s hands down the most tender chicken and fall-off-the-bone ribs! I can’t wait to try their stuffed turkey legs that they raved about.
Just know I’ll be back! Now that’s enough !!!s for one review.

Yeah the 1st time I haven't been to a place and I got food from them well 1st of the potato seem like it was overdone like they microwaved it I think that's a major faux paw and then I think there was any hardling on it for over $20 and I didn't see an onion in there anywhere so I know onions there is a few pc of bacon that was about ITIT's a sour cream Might have been butter on it but I didn't notice it was not much butter But yeah I probably wouldn't go back cause my guess.

The staff here is sweet, but this is the nastiest barbecue I’ve ever had in my life.
The brisket is like beef jerky slathered in barbecue sauce. I chewed for a long time and had trouble swallowing it. The chicken’s skin has chewiness also doused in barbecue sauce. There is a lack of smoke flavor and seasoning to the food.
The potato salad is completely inedible and has an overwhelming sweet and ambiguous flavor. The texture was mush inside a wet mess. I spit it out on the first bite and washed my mouth out because the flavor is so repulsive. I put it in the trash immediately.
The “peach cobbler” almost looks like a quesadilla as it’s a small amount of peach filling between two layers of pie crust. It taste like dough dipped in cinnamon apple sauce. The top crust was charred slightly which is okay but the bottom was soggy and seriously underbaked. I used quotations because it’s peach pie and not cobbler.
I didn’t bother to try the rest of my food due the extent of my disappointment in the food. If I could give 0 stars I would.

I was glad to see that Berry's family decided to continue his food legacy. I was in the old neighborhood and stopped by. I do miss this place.

Mac and cheese was gross, can’t even explain how it tastes. Collard greens were hard and gross. My BBQ was ALL fat. Even the pickle was OLD! $36 for a tray just to be disappointed. Avoid.
