Best bbq I've had in Washington. Owner was incredibly sweet and the sampler plate had me thanking God for a wonderful meal. Sauce is perfect, meat is tender, and even the sides had personality. If they ever introduce fried okra, I'm renting out the attic. I will be back!

A friend of mine went to this restaurant yesterday, October 3 because we saw the reviews and thought it’d be good. The owner greeted us. The customer service was OK. We placed our order then the owner and the other young lady that helped left for a catering job and left two teenagers there to oversee the restaurant.
I received my food ordered the mix and match with the ribs and chicken with macaroni and cheese, yams, potato salad, cornbread. The chicken was dry and overcooked the macaroni was very salty and the potato salad was just big chunks of potatoes and some kind of cream sauce. It was not good. The cornbread was sweet. The ribs were tender. The sauce was not good. I brought my ribs home and put my own sauce on them and the yams were average. I only ate the yams the cornbread and brought the ribs home. I left all the food basically untouched. I wish I took a picture.
I asked for a partial refund but the people that were there, which look like teenagers had no idea what to do. They tried calling the owner three times didn’t answer her phone. He talked to somebody else I left my name and number they said they will call me when they got back. Have not received the call back. I call today, Sunday, October 4. Sounds like teenager answered the phone. I asked if the manager was available he said no one’s there today. I asked him are you able to help me he immediately said no. I asked when will somebody be in? He said call back tomorrow. I would email, but they don’t even have a valid email on their website.
At this point I’ll be calling my bank to dispute the charge. I do not recommend at all!

Had a weird experience here today. Only one lady was working, really nice person but made our whole experience so slow. We ordered almost 70 dollars worth of food and waited almost thirty minutes. This chatty guy came in after us and took up ten minutes of her time. She then made his and our food together??? Time management c'mon. On top of it she tried to hand us a smaller size potato salad, no big deal mistakes happen, when I pointed out her mistake she then decided oddly to give it to the guy who came in after us free of charge, not the people you made sit there while you answered the phone and took other customers orders?!? When we got home the potato salad wasn't even up to the top of the 16oz container, she filled it like halfway. What did we do to you?
This was some of the BEST bbq that I’ve had. We had our company outing catered by Judy and her team (hot links, chicken, ribs, cornbread, Mac n cheese, beans, and collard greens). I can’t tell you how many times my co workers mentioned how good it was! We were all so satisfied and Judy took care of us the whole way through. She was so kind and put together a sampler platter from our selections and we knew this was the one after the first couple bites. From start to finish our whole experience with Berrys BBQ was splendid. Thank you for everything!!!

I'm sorry because I know that you guys maybe are trying to keep this place. But you can do it better for the people who stop by and bought you food. The brisket is not fresh, is hard to eat it. The coleslaw Salad was old and taste horrible. The mac and cheese old as well.
What a bad dinner! The worst part is that we paid almost 70$ for two horribles plates and sodas.
The soda and the employees welcome was the only good.

Lovely people but unfortunately the vibes did not match with the food. I honestly gotta say it’s the worse food Ive ever had. Me and my partner got sick after eating going to the toilet everytime i sat down.. Everything tasted either old or microwaved. Brisket had a funny taste and it was very rubbery to chew. Greens just tasted salty, mac n cheese tasted and looked old, corn bread tasted bland and was so dry it crumbled so fast as soon as I grazed my finger on it. Not one thing was good that I ordered. Im highly disappointed of the food and for the price I paid.

Amazing place and staff the did just don't hit right my wife and I spent 80 dollar's on food and we're now ordering burger king I'm from Chicago and it's been a real struggle finding good food and this was definitely and huge disappointment 😞
