Fantastic place in Burien to get all your German staples. The staff are friendly and there is a lot to choose from. While there don't forget to grab teawurst and rye bread for snacking. Also, they have leberekase sliced to order or you can take and bake at home. If you are hu get while there, they even have sandwiches made to order. Fantastic shop and will be back soon!

Excellent assortment of freshly made sausages. There are several cheeses, chocolates and miscellaneous European items. Very helpful staff make the trip here worthwhile!

Strolled in earlier today after dropping off a car across the street and I’m so glad I did! This delicatessen is stocked with all the German snacks and treats you could want, along with some other European imports. Great selection, and they even make sandwiches in house (using their own made in-house meats as well)! Came in again for my lunch and tried one; they don’t disappoint! Highly recommend a stop here if you’re in the area.Parking: 10-20 spots in front of building.

Hidden gem. The selection of chocolate and mustard alone are worth going to check out. Ordered a sandwich and was a little concerned by lack of topping options - bread, meat, cheese, pickles and mustard mayo mix. So you know I added extra sauce and pickles. Had the smoked ham. Was also a little concerned because I'm not a fan of Ryebread, but I have to say the sandwich was epic would go back for another.

As soon as you walk into the place you know you've found a serious gem. All sausages (except pastrami and Italian salami) are made in house. Lots of other great items imported from Germany too. Do yourself a favor and stop by, you won't be disappointed.

All the feel of a real Würstchen machen! They make the best weisswurst I've found in the Puget Sound area. Great selection of all kinds of German foods from beverages and wines to canned food like sauerkraut and pickles. And most importantly... They have the giant Milka bars like the kind you find only in Germany! The gentlemen who run the meat counter are THE coolest guys... So kind and polite. They even offer my kid a slice of bologna every time we visit. So awesome.

German Meats & German Products galore! But NO German Pretzels...GERMAN Meats & GERMAN Products! They even sell German washing machine detergent! Lots of German chocolates/sweets and spices/sauces. Also pickles and Wine. Have German bread but DISAPPOINTINGLY NO German Pretzels! Bought Rolladen + Kassler Ripchen + Landjaeger + Sausages + German Potato Salad. The Headcheese (Suelze) is TOO SOUR. NO place to sit and eat their Deli Sandwiches. Hans owns the large corner property complex in Burien--wish he would open a German Restaurant/Bakery.

A wonderful spot for Germanophiles and people who like north European foods. Authentic German butcher shops are hard to find especially after the ruthless takeover of Bavarian Meats by a soulless corporation, thus we should support and celebrate Hans. It is an easy drive from Seattle and the East side (30 minutes from Kirkland and an excuse to go to IKEA) , nothing complicated. The general merchandise is what I hoped to see and the meat selection is perfect for someone missing those great breakfasts in Wertheim and Berlin. Don't miss out on the wurst and bread selections. We shall make this a regular stop to stock up for those frequent days when we miss pleasant times in Hamburg sailing on the Ulster and biking in Auten.

The fact that most of the workers are actually from Germany makes it to good experience.
