A friend told me about this place and I was super excited to check it out. I ended up going with a friend to have some company during my stay. The environment is rather clean and the place on a Thursday was semi packed. I knew, I wanted a few items to try and when looking through the menu i saw it... the single A option, it was PERFECT! When described, it seemed like a lot of food, it comes out with the soup, your choice of wonton or sweet and sour. You also get a choice or white or BBQ pork fried rice, and then the entree choices and optons. I saved my lunch and dinner for this place so I was rather hungry, and did eat a lot of the food. Call me starving, sure! However I think my love for Chinese food and how well the food was actually why I continued to eat. Either way, if your wondering, go, and take photos and review about it. I ended up getting the almond chicken, sweet and sour chicken, bbq fried rice, it was sooo good, even the next day. I was surprised and shocked, but it makes sense why its still here. This a staple and gem and I heard so much about it!! So why didn't this Yelper not stop in.. To be honest, the outside was the reason I didn't stop in, soooo again do not judge a book by its cover. It's on the corner and very much so overlooked. So, our food came out and I was blown way and to be honest I could've eaten the whole plate, I didn't because I have some self control. I ended up taking some home. The almond chicken has this brown thick gravy and this was little sprinkled on the chicken - all pieces were delicious, not a piece uneaten. The sweet and sour pork has pineapple and water chestnuts which is my absolute favorite. The flavors blended well and with the salty chicken dish and kind of sweet dish its the best combo. I have always loved Chinese food and now I even take the time to learn the different dishes as it can vary with Mandarin, Korean, and Szechuan dishes - so always good to know what may be on the menu if your looking for a specific dish. I'm learning and always will continue to learn about the history. I do know, that right now it's hard to keep people and want to say thank you to all the staff from the owners to ensure this place stays open to our waitress, there were times she was overwhelmed, but continued to kick butt running all the patrons demands. Note - Keep in mind that everyone is struggling in all aspects of life and their business, please remain to be kind and keeping a smile when the staff is around, it can go along way. their people with feelings and your patience can help them, in you're not sure or have questions ask, when does that hurt, but everyone is human and have their days and a can make mistakes. This place found a place in my heart and I will be back soon and continue to let others know its open and ready for their supports, thanks for being here and around for over 30+ years.

Delicious! Good price and kind people working there. Honestly the best Chinese in the area that we've tried!

Our favorite Chinese restaurant. Been going for over 30 years. Under the same family management, we've watched each others children grow up.In all that time, not one unpleasant experience with food or staff.Great menu, weekday lunch specials.

The best service and The Best food! I ordered the prawns and green been in a soy and garlic sauce! They are very generous sized dishes for a price you can't beat anywhere! Me and my guy made this a favorite spot

The food here is absolutely wonderful. Soup is hearty and full of chicken and tofu, rather than being a bit of broth with some seaweed. The general tso chicken and honey walnut shrimp are both fantastic, and clearly home made. The service is also impeccable. What a treat!

First- the staff is super friendly and attentive. I wish I could give a higher rating based on that, but 2 stars is probably more than the food should get. The fried dishes are overly breaded to the point you don't know what protein is inside. The peas and carrots are either canned or frozen, same as the shrimp. I had sweet chili shrimp. It was inedible for me. My husband got fried shrimp and veg- he had to take all The breading off, way too much. Our friend had fried dumplings and a fried chicken dish. Both looked terrible. If you are going to fry, try lighter rice flour or panko. The taste was off and I wish I hadn't gone there.

Been coming here for years. Love the large variety of items on the menu, always delicious and great attentive service. The restaurant is always really clean including the bathrooms. Have tried other local Chinese restaurants and they really do not compare. King Wha’s flavors are the best!

We have lived in Burien for years and were craving Chinese food, so I logged on and found King Wha. They have been in business for ever and I am sorry we did not find it sooner! We had Almond chicken, snow peas, mushrooms and chicken and chicken fried rice. It was all fresh and very good! The rice was not "fried" like other restaurants, just lightly cooked with the chicken and vegetables. We will be back soon.

We have been going here for years. We just ordered 1 cashew chicken, 1 Mongolian beef, 1 hot and sour soup, and 1 rice. The portions were very big, filled 4x4x 5” boxes, and fed 4 of us with a little left over, for $44. Everything was fresh and hot when we picked it up. The Mongolian beef was delicious, mostly meat, and was nice and spicy of course. The cashew chicken was very good, mild, and had lots of tender chicken with the veggies. The hot and sour soup only had a few shrimp and lots of tofu, and was not quite as tasty as usual.

The beef and string bean dish was so delicious. The whole meal was full of flavor. The waitress was so helpful and nice to my granddaughter. The place is a Burien favorite .

Went for lunch on a Friday afternoon. My wife and I had meat dishes, and both were excellent. The included cup was also very good. Service was very friendly and attentive. Will return.

I love their hot pepper chicken!!!!!! Family owned restaurant been going here since the 80s!! I love this place. Dine in bring your family. Don't let the delivery service reviews change your mind. Uber eats is not employed by King Wah. Don't make complaints about a restaurant that has absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant food , prices !!! Eat at King Wah thank me later.
