My new favorite kbbq spot. I've only been here once and I can't stop talking about it.
Went here a couple of weekends ago on a whim and so glad we did! The restaurant manager was super sweet and told us that the kalbi was her recipe. I was so impressed by the quality of the meat, huge generous, high quality cuts! The kalbi was the best kalbi I ever had! I'm a huge carnivore, eat a ton of kbbq in Federal Way and I also just came back from a trip to South Korea and their kalbi still is my favorite!
I can't wait to come back and bring more friends!

KBBQ? More like KBBewww. I would expect for $50 ayce lunch to be a lot better than what we experienced at this restaurant. A friend brought us to this place because he had never been to it and wanted to try it out. Little did we know that he was taking us into the kbbq pits of hell. There were five of us and they only allowed two choices of meats at a time. I figured, “maybe they’re being resourceful and trying not to waste good meat?” Except the meat wasn’t good at all. There was no flavor really and honestly, the meat color wasn’t very appealing. I wondered to myself “did this meat come from depressed cows?” The server came to our table and threw everything onto the grill. I have never been to a kbbq place that does this. It definitely wasn’t what we wanted. At The “buffet” area, I felt like I was at a police lineup, trying to pick out the culprit who would be murdering my stomach later that evening. Nothing really tasted great or fresh. The “fish cake” was hard and super chewy. The noodles were as flavorful as JLo hitting “high notes.” Overall, it just wasn’t good at all. It was a huge let down, especially considering that it was $50!! They need to really consider stepping up their game if they want to survive, especially in the Seattle area with so many other great options. Also, what was up with all the interior cameras? If it’s to capture the disappointment in people’s faces sitting at their tables, then I’m sure they will have an unlimited amount of content at their disposal.

I honestly do not know how this place is rated 4.6 stars. I have gone to over 20+ KBBQ places in multiple cities and I did not think it was possible for a bad one to exist until I visited this place. We paid $55 per person for lunch and this is what we got for that:
Interior: Not clean, weird smell, and probably the worst decor I've been to.
Food: BAD BAD BAD. There were 5 of us for AYCE lunch and the server did not let us order more than 2 proteins. We when she brought it out, it was a whole plate pile of beef (looked like scraps) that she decided to throw into the grill that was layered over 3 times--resulting in the beef being streamed. She did not let us freely cook our own food. We like a variety when we're eating. The same thing with the pork belly and the looked off with different shapes. Zero on presentation. Don't even get me started on how horrible the buffet was. That quality and the flavor was bad. Everything was either tasted off or was completely drowned in sugar.
Service: Our server controlled every aspect of our cooking, ordering, the heat level.
So, when we all got home a couple hours later, we all got sick and was on the toilet. The food quality shouldn't have been served to us.
I also thought it was very odd that there were about 20 cameras in the place that were spaced out 6 feet apart. I found that to be really sketchy.
This place was horrible. I'm surprised of their rating. Maybe we came in a bad day but either way, I will not be coming here again. I wish I've gotten photos.

We had a great time visiting KW BBQ for the first time. The meats were all very fresh and the leek side dish really enhanced the meats. Our favorite was the thinly sliced brisket! We also got the bean paste stew which we thought was very very authentic.
Service was also impeccable! Our server was very nice and fast. She came to check on us multiple times. We also had the pleasure to meet manager Sarah who greeted us very warmly.
We highly recommend KW!

If you want to try a traditional Korean BBQ, you should come here and enjoy brisket, gali, and spicy pork buigogi. The owner was so nice and gentle he knows how to run his business. Bring your family to here guys!

The amazing Korean BBQ All You Can Eat in greater Seattle, in Downtown Burien worth traveling to for the quality meat and freshly-made banchan!! First, price is very reasonable especially today's economical market. We were very satisfied for what we paid over what we received (goods/service). Second, the banchan itself is worth mentioning that is tasty and can be the only accompaniment to your meal. Banchan is included in all you can eat. It is made from scratch at the restaurant with their own recipes using fresh ingredients. You would taste difference from the store-bought banchan and even kimchee. To name several, I enjoyed japchae (be careful to fill yourself up because so tasty), kimchee (made with their own recipe) and pickled leeks (the very first time I've had, good to eat with BBQ), sweet and spicy pickled cucumber, pickled daikon. It reminds me tasty home cooking that is seasoned JUST RIGHT, feeling total caring by the chef who makes all these dishes from scratch. Lastly, star of the all you can eat was Korean BBQ. Hearty portion and nice quality of cuts are superb, which is rare among all you can eat restaurants. We (party of 4) ordered bulkogi, kalbi, and briskets x 2, which we managed to eat all along with other banchan! The server was very kind to start grilling meat on the grill at our table. It helped us to focus on talking and eating relieving us a duty to do some cooking. She helped us to finish eating all we dishout out within 90 minutes time limit that we have for All-You-Can-Eat options!! Cooking meat takes some time and takes attention from enjoying conversation while eating a lot of food!!! She was also very attentive to us, changing grill paper, bringing additional things we may have needed, not to mention additional water. In summary, for those looking for a place for a couple, friends, family, K.W. Korean BBQ is the place to go. Having a tasty and hearty-portioned food in the center of the table when all the prepping and even cooking is partially done is very enjoyable. Price is very reasonable especially today's economical market. I am going to recommend K.W. Korean BBQ to anyone, my friends. I would proudly take my out of town visitors to the restaurants. I am looking forward to returning to the restaurant soon!

Absolutely amazing food! The meat is fresh with the all you can eat and the service is also amazing. What separates this place with others is the home made banchan. I especially enjoyed the kimchi and the japchae! Would recommend for anyone looking for good Korean BBQ.

Went here with a party of five, and it was genuinely the worst KBBQ experience I’ve had—saying a lot considering I’ve been to 15+ spots just in the greater Seattle area.
The meat quality was poor across the board. The pork belly was literally gray, which is unacceptable. They limit you to ordering only two meats at a time, yet the portions are excessively large, and the server dumps the entire plate onto the grill at once. Our entire party knows how to cook KBBQ properly, so not being allowed to manage our own cooking was a major turnoff.
The side/cold buffet felt unsanitary, and items placed toward the back were difficult to reach even for an adult. The fish cakes were hard and clearly not fresh. To make matters worse, there’s no sauce station—you have to request every sauce individually from the server, per person, which is inefficient and frustrating.
Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. Definitely not a place I’d return to or recommend.
