Best Hawaiian barbecue I’ve ever had.
Honestly this is rocky between 2 and 3 stars... I love lau Lau and have had it many times... I spent about 40$ on the Lau Lau plate and ribs and I have to say everything I got had almost no flavor, no spice, no seasoning, no sauce... I don't understand, ANY flavor would add so much to there dishes. It's sad cause I love lau Lau and can order so close to me but I won't be due to the flavorless dishes.
Great food Highly recommend
Really good food and reasonably priced. Nice people there.
Really nice owner, was very nice to our group that was there for a convention. Huge portions & he gave us a complimentary dessert,

My husband and I stumbled across this place in Federal Way. It was really good! I got a bbq chicken "mini" lunch plate and hubs got a cheeseburger combo. Portions were very generous. The chicken was really good and more than I could eat. Mine was chicken, rice, and Hawaiian macaroni salad. SO tasty! There was extra sauce, but it was so good it didn't need it. My husband's burger was nicely char grilled hand formed and big. Delicious crisp crinkle cut fries - More fries than he could eat and a soft drink - all for around $8.50! Mine was 10.00 or 11.00 (I think.) The place is not fancy at all but it was clean and pleasant, pretty much like a teriyaki place. The staff were all nice. Great Hawaiian plate lunch, great burger (so said hubs) great price. We'll be back. There are lots of other options to check out. I think it's a chain or a franchise but it was quality food.
So I recently called these guys up and made a crazy order. We are talking 70 dollars worth of different sides…and chicken Katsu for the kids. I called right smack in the middle of dinner rush and do you know what they said on the phone!. They said,”Hey thank you for the order sir, it will be less than 15 minutes. What the name for the order”. No attitude about my crazy irder or anything, just polite. So I show up 12 minutes later and they are just bagging it up. I paid what I was about to discover was a very reasonable price. Because when he handed me the bags I almost feel over they were so heavy. I was so confused I forgot to ask for the name of the guy so I can send him a chiropractor bill.. but seriously, I got home and these portions are HUGE I don’t know how they can give you this much food and charge the same as a
Number 13 at Arby’s? Something is definitely up with these folks and I recommend everyone goes there and sees this for themselves. Help me figure out how they do this. I’ll see if I can add a picture of the Katsu “sides” that have to weight 15 pounds ?……..in all seriousness this place is incredible and people that run a business like this deserve our business. Good luck out there everyone.

Just came up from SoCal where I was eating L&L on the weekly and had a craving. Drove all the way from Ballard for this spot and so glad I did. I've been here a couple times now and without a doubt, this is by far the best L&L I've ever been to.
